If it's true him and his family trying to get his brother to take the charge ( he is a Juvenile ) that's a sad situation to make your younger brother do time for something you did. Also 2nd degree Murder even someone under 18 can be charged as an adult if Da and Judge rule to charge as adult so what would the Family do then ? that’s what happens when Trey might be your meal ticket to get out of Union Parish… Not saying that is what is happening but happens more than you think it does.

Update. I heard charges were dropped. The attempted murder charges were dropped but he is still getting dinged for illegal use of a weapon or dangerous instrumentality (a felony). His lawyer said he is pleading not guilty to this charge and they plan to go to trial in Union Parish

His lawyer said he is pleading not guilty to this charge and they plan to go to trial in Union Parish Help me out on this. How can he not be charged with attempted murder but still be charged with illegal use of a weapon or dangerous instrumentality? Was it self-defense or not? If he pulled the trigger( which it seems he must have at some point) it has to be one or the other. If you shoot ( or shoot at) someone, you are either feloniously trying to injure them or you are trying to defend yourself from their attempts to injure you. I hate to say this, but this is looking more and more like someone from Baton Rouge has stepped in and is guiding the local legal team in finding the least damaging way to charge Holly for a trial to be held among a very friendly jury in a town where he is a legend and a hero so that he can get on with his football activities. I hope I’m wrong, but that’s how it looks.

My guns stand at the ready whether it is my vehicle or my home. I have met Trey a few times since we have played Union in the jamboree a few times. Trey has also declared innocence on the charges of illegal use of a weapon. I for one believe him, got no reason not to. Even though in times like this, I still believe in innocence until proven guilty.
