There is nothing to disagree with. It is pure math. 5 Classes = less chance at a title than 9 classes for championships. The ONLY way that could be questioned would be due to the consolidation from 5 to 4 "select" classes that a school lends in a less favorable class (IE someone they can't beat) If you look at it mathicmaticaly You are right in theory. ND WILLSTILL HAVE SAME TALENT IN SPLIT OR NOT. THEY REST OF THE SCHOOLS WILL GET LEFT OVERS. You can put combine sunbelt and acc to and maticamatically Alabama would would have harder chamce you would think, but if they are superior they are superior no matter how many lower class teams you throw in the mix with 10 reg games a year. Math doesnt solve every thing. Try solving with physics. The split has very little to do with the 10 regular season games a year. It has to do with adding Welsh, St. Helena, Many, Ferriday, Amite, etc. into the mix. Unless it is your belief that those teams are all definitely lesser programs than any of the top select schools. . Which after looking at the brackets 7-8 years ago, may be an arguable point.

ND is better at being a select than say St Eds. But when you can choose are have kids choose to go to a school because of the program it makes it unfair for the ones who have to play with what is left. Sure every now and then CP was able to beat ND but I doubt it in the last 10 years. Nothing wrong with bettering yourself by playing against elite. Kaplan does it. But they would not be as successful playing in a select bracket they are bond by a zone that the pick of the litter has been picked through.

You have a stepchild mentality, little man syndrome, and , not a very good combination, but maybe that’s wrong with CP.

But you sound like a man who would beat the hell out of a woman and bragg about how tuff you were. You want to beat less talented school so you can bragg how good you are. Put ND in a school zone like CP and make it fair We would be happy to kick yall rear end. Until then enjoy your advantage and shut up.

I don’t like the urban/rural thing either. Let’s all play together. Winning a state championship shouldn’t be easy.

The one problem I have with urban/rural is it doesn't work out for smaller schools in New Orleans. Those schools are usually not very talented at all. After 3A there is a huge drop off in talent with the exception of John Curtis of course. I would be more in favor of the Indiana plan.

Are you really worried about small urban schools in Nola, really? Or are you worried about Kinder? Sounds to like you want bad teams in and trying to figure out how to move private schools up? Sounds like my buddy is catching the virus, I need to vaccinate you with a dose of cold beer.

It's not perfect, but I have posted about it several times and feel that if we (the LHSAA) were to ever be able to get back together, this would be the plan to do it.

Now I don’t. ND has zero advantages over our fellow Acadia parish schools. in fact we have a $6,000 a year disadvantage. We have zero zone enforcement now. CP has more out of parish students than ND. Our enrollment went from 450-500 range to mid 300’s. And add the new “rules” that allow Many to draw from an entire parish or Kinder draw from out the parish because certain schools don’t offer certain sports further neutralized any advantage privates have over public schools. The Indiana plan is far to out dated for our disfunctional LHSAA

Haha if we lose 20% then we will jjst drop to 1 or 2 A. But you will still be hating. I highly doubt the A.D. or the principal in CP would allow anything not inside the rules to occur. I also think if it were not for ND having those CP boys they would not be as good as they are. We play the hand we are dealt, some people may whine some may not. Play the hand you are dealt . How about we just let you make the rules then ND can be state champ every year. If I made the rules we would obviously have no split and ND would have a less of a chance to win a title. CP is making their own rules, plays in a joke of a watered down league and will probably never win a title. Your is out of control. If I made the rules, there would be a complete split and we would be living in the world of the LHSAA verses AULHS (Athletic Union of Louisiana High Schools) All inclusive any school who is willing to openly and fairly compete.
