Acadiana couldn't stop Williams, how is that on a silver platter? It's not like Acadiana had numerous turnovers. If I recall Acadiana had the only INT. Hahnville was definitely better in the return game. Hahnville called and executed a fake punt which kept drive alive. Definitely don't think Hahnville was gifted the game, I think they earned a hard fought victory.

Trust me buddy, Zachary has no clue what they are Up against. This kid is a phenom. Just as Acadiana thought they had all the tools to stop him, they soon found out that this kid can't be contained. Zachary is about to get the brakes beat off of them. Im going to put this out there. U-High beat Zachary 26-7, and U-High don't have anything close to the offense Hahnville has. Wow, I didn't realize Hahnville was undefeated... can't be contained That was week 2, and they still scored 42 points. They also lost to Bro. Martin the following week. I think Hahnville was still trying to find their identity in the first few week. Now, they know who they are and all the pieces have come together. I know it's a Moral victory when the team that beats your team go on to win, so I understand the rebs rooting for Zachary, but I don't think they will be able to stop this kid.

Pooka can give the opposing team nightmares forever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever Ed Reed said some years ago that Pooka will be the best player to come through the River Parishes He was right. What impresses me the most is his vision (and instincts) It's like he sees the play unfolding before it actuallly does. If you watch that last 2 point conversion, when he reversed his field, there were a few options he had to get to the goal line. 99% of the time, he goes outside and out runs the defense to the corner of the endzone. That was an option last night, since the QB was still there to block for him, but in a instant, he saw something in the inside and took it.

The top end speed is icing on the cake

As for All-around high school football player, I still think that Joe McKnight is the best I've ever seen, but Pooka isn't far behind on the offensive side of the ball

McKnight Pooka Fournette Speedy Noil Probably the top 4 in no order I’ve seen in the past 15 years. Edges to McKnight and Fournette because they did it for 4 years

Pooka Williams goes for 300 yards in the dome. Mark my words How much he had tonight?? pooka. 234 yards rushing plus 99 kickoff return. 333 total yards. What's even more impressive is that Hahnville had 0 passing yards. You would think that Acadiana, with their dominate defense, stacking the box would have stopped pooka. They knew Hahnville wasn't going to throw the ball.

Special teams,Hahnville 14 Acadiana 0.That was the difference in the game.Congratulations Hahnville, hope you guys take it all the way home with the trophy!I was at the game ,the Rams had 2 int's and a missed field goal in regulation. One of the KO returns wasn't even Pookie Williams,it was #3,don't remember his name.Williams had one KO return for a td and that was the opening kick of the second half.Pookie Williams is the real deal,he reminds me a lot like Kevin Faulk in high school.Same moves and speed. What a great game even though we lost, still proud of the kids and the great year they had.I just felt bad for the seniors, they left it all out on the field.

The other kick off return was receiver #13 Mike Gray. Hahnville has some pretty good skill people. #9 receiver Jamel Byrd has an offer from Southern University. Hahnville just doesn't throw it.

It's just what the kid dones. I try to tell guys that this kid is special. I just hope he goes to LSU! I hope he goes to LSU also.Like I said in an earlier post,he reminds me of Kevin Faulk @ Carencro.Same running style, can change directions on a dime and excelerate in a heart beat! And who's the all time leading rusher in LSU history,Kevin Faulk.Coach O and Canada need to pursue this kid hard to get him signed in Feburary.

Anthony "Pooka" Williams says that he will sign on Dec in the early signing period.
He is committed to Kansas and seems firm. He says that Kansas stayed with him when grades were an issue. We will see.
