Duplicate post, but would like some feedback!!
Wednesday Winners
Riverside
Dunham
Zwolle
Simsboro
Chargers
WarHorses
Peabody WarHorses vs Madison Prep Chargers. Battle of the Horse Mascots. That is a game I will gladly drive to Lake Charles to attend. We are going Saturday. I am a Baton Rouge guy, so I hope to see Madison Prep, Scotlandville, Walker and Dunham win on Saturday. I am looking forward to seeing Peabody and Rayville. Need them to win their semifinal games.
Most confident in Scotlandville winning. I hope Smart breaks the 2 game scoring record. 5A the record is 63 in 2 games. He has averaged 48 a game for about 2 months. Against Mckinley at the EBR tournament he had 31. An easy 31, because he had 23 at half. Could have scored 50 in that game.
One complaint is that games during the week at 11:30 is a bad idea. I subscribe for one month to NFHS network, however some of the games you can't watch, because hello, you have a job. I watch it when I get home. I know Scotlandville is playing Mckinley at 11:30 on Thursday morning. They should play that game Thursday night at Southern University. Coach Sammple's close relative is the athletic director. Scotlandville is about 2 miles from there and Mckinley is about 6 miles. That would draw a huge crowd, but on Thursday at 11:30am the game will get about 800 fans in- paid attendance.
I remember going to Southern games when Ben Jobe was there and it would sell out, and I think the Mckinley Scotlandville game could draw 5,000 people.

I remember going to Southern games when Ben Jobe was there and it would sell out, and I think the Mckinley Scotlandville game could draw 5,000 people. Man so far this has been one crazy top 28! I have the flexibility at work to watch and keep up while there so I’ve been lucky. Between yesterday and today two big things I’ve seen are comebacks and poor officiating. You can argue that many games were given away, but I hate saying that as an excuse. So far the Class 4a and Division II & III games have been the best to me. I was very shocked at how 35 went right at Woodlawn. The Dandy kid can really play but Woodlawn played with championship mettle and persevered. Carencro vs Westgate shows how difficult it is to beat a team 3 times in a season. Carencro is so athletic. UHigh vs De La Salle was the best game so far. Lots of shooting and strategy in that one. Really enjoyed seeing my guys Constantin at UHigh and Ned at DLS play so well. Riverside vs Episcopal should’ve been a blowout in the first half but Episcopal just would not go away. Foul trouble beset Riverside and it hurt them in the end when Episcopal was able to get some easy buckets and got a gift of a foul call in the end. Dumas was excellent for them. Riverside really missed Robertson bad Dunham vs Country Day was a game of runs. Dunham was on fire in the first half and looked like they would cruise. I think country day had a 19-2 run to take control in the second half. Then came the turnovers Dunham needed. Ended on an 8-0 run to win by 1.

Eric Reed is my son's cousin. He had a big game. 27 points
Was surprised that Southern Lab, Riverside, and Country Day kinda blew their respective games.
