Not really bold but Rayne repeating last years historic performance. When was the last time Rayne made the semis two years in a row? I think your statement was in fact ...Bold!

I’m going to go out on a limb and say Homer wins 10 games this year. They go 8-2 in the regular season and win 2 playoff games. They have some athletes for sure.

Jena, Marksville, and Avoyelles split for championship in 3-3A. Bolton wins a district game . Fireman, who do you believe out of Avoyelles and Marksville could beat Jena this year. I see Jena winning these games handily.

University Lab out of Baton Rouge will go 15-0 with another State Championship in Division II and will beat every opponent by at least double digits.

It said make a bold statement, not an accurate statement Jena has talent returning. We have been reminded of that often on this board. They were 10-0 last year and exited the playoffs early again. Marksville and Avoyelles have a lot returning and both will be better. Jena will be good but not as good as last year. Jena people will lead you to believe that they are on an elite level. Nobody is scared. Regardless of your team full of all staters that you claim to return.

didnt they make the finals in 1990 yeah my bad. Forgot about the team that went for the 4-peat in 1990. That Senior Class played nearly 60 games in 4 years. There was a lot of talk that their Semi Final game against Iota took a lot out of them. They had a tough game in the Quarterfinals too. Buras was very good though. They got back to the Dome the next year and lost a close one to Haynesville.

J-Hodge makes their first dome appearance in over 30 years. Actually it would be 28 years. 29 seasons. J-H is much improved but not quite sure they are ready for the Haynesvilles, OGs, and WSJs of the 1A world. I see them in the quarters, with a possible Semi run with the right draw

[ Jena had a week long flu epidemic hit the school during Week 10, and had 3 practices the week they played Westlake in Round 1 in which they were missing half their starters. They played the game with some starters out and several starters very puny and not at full speed. None of that could be helped. Jena will be good again this year, but maybe not quite as good as last year. Your obsession with bashing them is interesting

They got back to the Dome the next year and lost a close one to Haynesville. They played exactly 60 in 4 years from 87-90. They were incredibly dominant. In 90 they didn’t so much run into Buras as they ran into QB/LB Corey Buie. That dude was unbelievable!

Acadiana takes a step back for a year. Comeaux isn't as bad off as they want everyone to think. Barbe is good but only second round good. Sam Houston takes a step forward. Sulphur takes 3-5A outright. Your prediction is more accurate than a bold one.Sulphur will win district this year, hands down with Barbe and Acadiana finishing second and third respectfully.I see Comeaux and Sam Houston fighting it out for fourth place. My bold prediction is Sulphur playing Zachary for the 2018 5A state championsip.
