What you do not want to understand is Kiner high school falls under Allen Parish School board. If Allen Parish School Board approves for a kid from Jeff Davis Parish to attend any school in Allen Parish that school can do or say nothing. The fault does not fall on the school. How has the split hurt ND? There are rules, excuses, conveniently applied for many situations now. Each parish has different rules but basically we have open borders. It hurts ND financially, we made the finals last year and only had 2 playoffs games before the finals. Then the LHSAA only paid out 40% of what was already a measly amount because of the high cost of playing 9 games with less attendance than 5. But the hell with the money part. ND is a Catholic school, Catholic schools have been in existence in Louisiana before public schools, Catholic schools were part of the LHSAA from day one, we feel the same ownership in the LHSAA as any public school. But yet we got kicked out because of one off, and family owned schools. Look what this division has done to the football fans on the board, imagine what it will do to the next generation. I’m not raising my kids to be “select” and I’m quite certain you aren’t raising yours to be “not select” but the s at the LHSAA are doing that for us.

But my take on thid is LHSAA not enforcing the rules. If rules would have been enforced we would not be here today. That is not a private school fault or a public school fault. It is everyone's fault for turning a blind eye. When a problem is ignored you will normally get a outcome that is not liked. LHSAA still today countines to failes at doing proper investigations of public and private schools. Until rules are enforced fairly schools will do what they think is best way to try to level the playing field. Yes, I understand playing field will never be level.

Don’t you think it’s a Little hypocritical that the one rule (zones) that caused the split is basically non existent?

So you think no zones is okay now, but not before we split? I guess can affect anyone!

So you think no zones is okay now, but not before we split? I guess can affect anyone! You are taking one point and trying to make that the only issue. There is more to it than just zones. Another point is I watched a video on this site of someone from Laf. Christian talking about putting in a million dollar facility with nutrition center. How can a public school compete with that. You and I have discussed this time and time again. You base your argument on zones I say there is more to it than that. We have high jacket another thread and made it about split so I leave this as my last comment in the split.

The split was about zones, I never heard anything about million dollar buildings. But if expensive buildings interest you maybe you should go visit the new Southside high school and while you are there inquire about their tuition. And maybe go ask Pastor Jay at LCA about the (state) funded tuition assistance program he uses.

This might be a good time to remind the board as to what Parish you and your sons who play for Kinder (Allen Parish) live in. So you want to get serious with me by calling out my family on a public forum? Let me tell you something SOB, what i told you in person when we met was my kids went to school in allen parish since they were in pre k. Their mom has been a teacher there forever, so you turn this around and call me out on a football forum, knowing you dont have a point, but are straight out lying about me. Lets hope for your sake we dont meet again this year.

You didn’t tell me it was a secret that you lived in JD parish. And if your wife worked at a bank where would your kids go to school? And I guess it’s okay for you point out that ND has students from multiple parishes but kinder is off limits?
