They say the phones are ringing off the walls, but I don't believe it. Feaster will not leave Glenbrook because he's in the first year of a 5 year contract and his 2 sons are playing there. Forget both Bachmans. They're happy where they are, as are Dennis Dunn and Reynolds Moore. There is one who has applied but I'm not at liberty to say who he is yet. He has a great offensive mind and he might junk the Wing-T for a spread offense. North Desoto ditched the wing-t a couple of years ago when the Coach's son/stepson became the qb.

We still ran the Wing T, just different versions of it.

If you have an offensive mind that has great scheme ability with and an offensive line coach that block it, you will have a great combination. However, I would think that the new coach also needs to bring in a new defensive coordinator and start from scratch on that side of the ball too. No disrespect to the current DC but most Head Coaches want a DC that they know, right?

As long as there is football, there will be people shouting "throw the ball mayne!", "we should be in the spread" and "wing t don't work anymore!".

What about Woodlawn-Shreveport? Anyone have any news about this position? Jerwin Wilson left but... Is his brother still there? Isn't he the "lock" for the new head coach position? And if he isn't.. Why?

Ab called the defensive schemes. Caleb Guidry has been the DC for the past few years. True, but Ab still made the calls, that's what I was told by a coach.

Apparently "people in the know" are saying that Andy Robinson has accepted the Head position at Rayville or Delhi. Not sure which, depends on who you talk to.

Caleb Guidry has been the DC for the past few years. True, but Ab still made the calls, that's what I was told by a coach. So he was given the title, but not trusted enough to do the job? I can see where that could have caused some dissension amongst the staff.

North Desoto ditched the wing-t a couple of years ago when the Coach's son/stepson became the qb. We still ran the Wing T, just different versions of it. In the three games I saw them play in the last couple of years they were lined up in the shotgun most of the game with 3 or 4 wr, no wing backs. when not in the shotgun they ran out of an ace formation. they may have lined up with more wing-t personnel in other games, but not the ones I watched. I watched Aubrey Scott's highlights on hudl this season as well, never saw them in a traditional wing-t. they did have a few jet sweeps where they pulled the guards, but that was the closest I saw.

How many years does Feaster have in the public school system? Enough to draw his retirement? Private schools like Glenbrook don’t pay nearly as well as the public school system. Gary Smith, is back in the area...he got the ball rolling at North Desoto. Feasted has already retired in the La system. Was retired before he went to Parkway.
