Vermilion Catholic has 17 starters back with all of the line and QB and most of the WR’s Vc is the heavy favorite in D4 besides lab in my opinion. No. Country Day and Calvary are the favorites in D4 in my opinion. We’re rebuilding.

Vc is the heavy favorite in D4 besides lab in my opinion. Eh there are 3 teams moving down to D4 that I couldn’t see them beating I don't know ogfan, VC will be very good this year. I don't see anyone beating them except Lab. I could be wrong though.

Vc is the heavy favorite in D4 besides lab in my opinion. Especially with LCA moving up. Lots of good young talent on VC's squad. District 6 - 2A looks interesting. I'd say LCA and ND are probably expected to be in contention for the Div III title. ND will be the perennial frontrunner until LCA proves themselves in the higher division, IMO. DISTRICT 6 - 2A 1. Lafayette Christian 2. Lake Arthur 3. Notre Dame 4. Port Barre 5. Welsh This has to be a trolling post 😂😂😂😂

I know LCA has a lot of talent but they are losing a very good QB in Zach Clement and the QB of the defense in Martin Lee. So the move up right at that time gives me a little anxiety. Should be an interesting year. I will say, though, that when Green had a chance to play QB this year, his passing was crisp and actually looked better than Zach's did as a freshman based on an old man's memory (and Zach looked better than his predecessor, who was a really great kid and a good athlete). Zach was just so good about always making the right decisions on the RPOs, and that came with experience, hence my concerns.

I think this is Caldwell's year to win district, most of the defense will be returning, most with 2 full years experience going into the season. They only averaged something like 9.4 ppg, and several of those scores were against the JV after the game was in hand. Caldwell will be a quarterfinal team next season.

Calvary Baptist has an excellent chance of winning Div IV this year. LOTS of Seniors coming back this year to make a run. I like their chances.

I just can't see them beating Country Day, Calvary or Riverside. That's not even counting lab who will be better than their fans want us to believe lol. And AC is still there with maybe the best rb in the class. I think they could be semi finalist again with the right draw.

But that’s it.

I still think Lab was the better team with the WORST coach in the state but LCA is a program to deal with and barring something internally being exposed, they’ll take the crown in Lafayette soon.

District is wide open. y’all might be down but outside of y’all that district will probably be very weak Mayby JK has forgotten that Kentwood will be 2A and AC is in another district? Honestly, of the teams that are left, which one do you think has even a remote chance of beating Lab next season? Central Private False River Slaughter Community The Church Academy Thrive Academy The first name that jumps out is The Church Academy. They've got Lab's former coach, but he's not working with Lab caliber players. I don't see that happening. Slaughter Community has been improving. They've got a few playmakers and decent young coach. Maybe in a few years, they could challenge Lab, but they haven't made it that level yet. Central Private just moved over from the MAIS. They've got some serious growing pains to get through. False River... I'm not even going to touch that one. Thrive Academy is new. They may have some athletes, but will be in the same boat as Slaughter. They'll need a couple of years to get up to speed with Lab. I will agree that Lab is rebuilding and they may not be able to take on the likes of Parkview, Scotlandville or Riverside, but they'll have more than enough left in the tank to easily roll over their new district foes next season.

If that is the district teams named above him, the fact that slaughter charter is listed among the contenders should tell you all you need to know about the district. That is a team that had to score at the end of the game to beat LaSalle at home in the playoffs only to lose the next round 44-0. I think Lab will be more than capable.

The Kittens will likely only be a shell of the team they had in 2018. But seriously, Lab's junior high team could beat half of the teams in that district. Lab could show up with their 7-on-7 team and not play with an offensive or defensive lineman all night and still beat those teams.

I don't think anyone comes close to Lab in district next year. He’s not lying about Lab guys. Everything he’s said is correct I understood lab is down but if you take them out, that is the weakest district in the state and I don’t think it is close. Only way lab doesn’t win district is if they cancel football, down or not
