I actually think this is a great hire for Richwood. Anyone else get the sense that this may be really, really bad for Ouachita?

It would be nice to see Richwood back in the thick of the playoffs.

Ouachita has decided rebuilding their program was not in the cards years back. Carr got out of there because of the political BS he had to put up with all the time. Too many has beens run the school and they will stink until someone comes in as a principal and decided the old way and old money is gone and will start anew. The program for all intensive purposes is finished and cooked. Get the potatoes out and enjoy the meal.

Ouachita is Ouachita. Upper middle of the road 5a that will win their share but struggle making that championship run. Richwood will improve but that’s only due to the majority of the team returning the next few years. Until “alumni” butt out, they will be middle of the pack 3a with better talent than that. Yanez is a non factor, either way.
