Clean, this is logic type stuff you have here. I think Catholic is better than Acadiana though. . If Acadiana steam roles Ruston I'll be more inclined to believe Acadiana is a top 5 team. I would have for a top 15 as such, and this is fun: 1. Curtis 2. Karr 3. STM 4. Catholic BR 5. Rummel 6. Acadiana 7. Destrehan 8. ESJ 9. EA 10. WM 11. Evangel 12. Jesuit 13. Zachary 14. Neville 15. University

I'll add clean that you are spot on about ESJ. People don't realize how good they are yet and how well coached.
They are a legitimate title threat.

After beating Karr, Curtis is #1 until they lose.

After beating Karr, Curtis is #1 until they lose. I watched Karr vs Curtis on and off last Thurs. Theyβre both great. Karrβs sopre - WR Aaron Anderson - is explosive

Same team that lost 3 games last year by the hair of their chinny chin chin-Destrehan being one of those 3 and that was by 2 points I believe. Staff brought on Dautrieve as OC. They have a sound staff, great HC, community support, and their entire squad returns. Coach Robicheaux is the reason I even began to research them. He knows and has been vocal all off season about what is happening out there. Destrehan and them both will be a war this year.

East St John has a whole new mindset. It is the game I would attend if I lived down in the river parishes. But, I'm headed back to Bill Ruple Stadium this Friday. First in a while for me going there back to back weeks. People are going to be shocked at how different this ESJ team is. More discipline and their leader is from all accounts a solid football coach and also well respected in the community as a great man. Kids believe in what is going on and it is showing, quickly.

Clean I ain't attached to a single team.
I stay unbiased and try and tell it like it is.
People may not believe that, but it is the truth.

Bruh, I am Jon Snow.
I know nothing.
I know I know nothing and thinking like that means I have to keep looking, watching, researching, and then when I think I know something I realize quickly I don't know poop.
That also appeased the naysayers. They know I don't know poop and I admit I don't know poop. But by gawd I am going to research it to death and study whatever it is that interests me and comment on it!! π€π..

I read your comments that they lost some players. Can you give more details? I noticed the track star isnβt playing

I read your comments that they lost some players. Can you give more details? I noticed the track star isnβt playing Yes, Burrell quit due to track. He accomplished a lot in football already. I understand his move. Todd McLures son quitting was due to baseball I was told. As for the other 4 players who would be starting, with 2 of them starting last season on defensive and offensive lines as sopres, I have no earthly idea. Strangest thing I've ever come across in high school football. A mass exodus of starters, not from graduation or injury, that suited up during spring yet is not with the team this fall. And, no one in media or staff has addressed this giant pimple on the forehead of a successful program. Imagine WM losing 6 starters and none were due to injury, before the season started, AFTER going back to back as state champs and being kings of your school. Tell me a stranger story Clean. I'll hear it

Players don't usually quit one sport just because they play another sport. Not in high school and not if the sport they are leaving is successful. Sometimes that happens if an athlete is a sure lock for the pros in a sport other than football and doesn't want to risk injury but how often does that happen? Sounds like something else is going on for a successful football program like Zachary to lose that many starters at one time.

He is a potential Olympian and special runner from all accounts. His quitting made perfect sense. McClure is not. Maybe it is the concussions he has suffered the last two years. The other 4 I have no idea as I said, but two started last year and the other two were very talented players. They also lost a back up DT too.

How many 0-1 teams get to be No. 2 in the state. Karr did it, lol.
