To whom it may concern noone in the State of Louisiana has to worry about the Haynesville Golden Tornado anymore. Until they can find a coach who will practice the team more than 5 hours a week they dont have the stamina to play. Alumni

To Whom It May Concern. Haynesville has a great coach. Half the players are underclassmen, and there are only 30 on the roster. The practices have worked pretty well for years now haven’t they. So why don’t you shut your mouth about a good man and a good coach just because we are actually experiencing a down year for once. This year seem like it’s going to be a down year for a few teams that usually make deep runs

It’s going to be a tough year for us, but I’m not giving up on this team yet! My senior year we went 5-5 in the regular season with tough losses to Iota 35-6 and Loyola 34-2. We squeaked into the playoffs and ended up losing a controversial game against Phoenix in the quarter finals. These young guys are gaining valuable experience this year and will be seasoned next year.

They'll win 6 if their next 8 games morgan city and berwick will get them to 3 wins this year other than that it is time to find a new coach. half of the coaching staff that was at patterson is at central catholic. you think they want the kids going to patterson where they can go right to central catholic with ease where they can win.

Gees its not like Haynesville was getting the lopsided losses like Northwood-Lena. Mark my words they'll be at .500 or better when its said and done

Mark my words they'll be at .500 or better when its said and done I know some folks from Lasalle and we have talked about one of the best teams they ever had that drew a “down” Haynesville team in the first round and lost. LaSalle was 10-0 and ranked number 6. Haynesville was number 27. They went on to lose to Phoenix in the qtrs. Haynesville may be down, but they aren’t an easy win or someone you want to meet in the playoffs.

We had to completely hit the reset button once playoffs started and tried to forget the disappointing regular season. We made a good run, but fell a little short.

We made a good run, but fell a little short. Rayne went 5-5 and lost 4 district games ended up 26 in 3A playoffs. We beat Church Point in the 1st Round after the smoked Eunice in week 10 for the district. Smoked Bossier in the 2nd round then we got beat by St Charles in the quarters. A couple turnovers and their passing game in the second half got us 52-24. Proof anything is possible

As a Calvary fan, Haynesville concerns me.
Calvary has a solid team this year, and even though they blew out Rayville, I still keep thinking about their loss against Union Parish.
The Cavaliers need to shore up their run defense and this is entirely possible given it is early in the season. If not, it can be a long day against Haynesville when they meet in district play.
Good luck to the Tors...I've always been a fan and they represent north Louisiana very well.

Haynesville Football is in good hands. Even great programs have down years. Coach Franklin is one of the best in the state.

If it’s one team that will figure it out come money time, it’s Haynesville I’ll never count them out until they are eliminated

Our middle school classes coming up have all the size the high school need lol, so we’re jus going to manage these next to seasons and cmon back to 1a lol

If Haynesville is within 28 points of Calvary at the end of the game, Coach Guin should be let go.

We’ve had some battles with them and they’ve definitely had our number here lately! Kentwood, along with Haynesville and OG belong in 1a. Not the same without these 3 teams. Maybe when they return to 1a, Haynesville will be a littler more competitive than we are now.
