I think the likelihood of this being a one-score game is a lot more than either side walking away with a large win...I do know we can't give OG the turnovers we gave up last week. Heart always with my Panthers but anybody that doesn't respect Oak Grove in ANY game needs scheduling for brain surgery. to be honest I don't think yall will turn the ball over much this week as im sure they are working on that this week as well. just ready to see a great match up hopefully.

Yes I do think it will be a great game going back and forth. Regardless of the outcome I think both teams will be in New Orleans. This time I hope we both bring a championship back.

You coming hard with it man. Touched my soul. I saw your QB. He can't throw very well, and he isn't as talented as Crockett at Sterlington. Also, Sterlington has more depth and their receivers are all-around better. I don't think the score will be close. My prediction is Sterlington 35, and The Grovers 14. And that is being kind. Don't ever compare Rayville to Sterlington. Rayville has gone to pure s*** since Barton left and even he couldn't win with loaded ballclubs. If Oak Grove can't establish a ground game they will get blown out. I see no reason OG won’t be able to establish the run game, OCS ran up and down the field all second half. You’re definitely right that sterlington is way better than Rayville but I believe OG is better than OCS and Logansports. Should be a great game I can wait for Friday My main reason for saying they will struggle to establish the run game is that they are one dimensional from my POV. Now, Oak Grove may come out and run some play action downfield to loosen Sterlington up and get the DC focuses more on what is coming rather than thinking he knows what is coming. OCS is multifaceted and runs one of the better offenses in the area, but without the elite talent. The years they have had elite talent they cut through teams like butter. Their offensive staff from Harper (I think he still helps personally regardless of what anyone says) to Fitz and a few before them with great minds I knew come through there ran the most sophisticated offense in Monroe/WM---Ruston is starting to run similar to Longview but needs better QB play. Key to OCS is making them snap the ball and go on long drives without giving up big plays. Then get a 2 td lead and make them okay catch up through the air. One reason why Southern Lab was so weird in their play calling and game plan last year in the playoffs against OCS. They could have ran Davis every play. And, they would have ran away from OCS as Sterlington did. Oak Grove punishes people up front to set up the pass. If they fail to establish the line their offense becomes sloppy and QB is asked to do too much. Sterlington likely will play that game. But Oak Grove still struggles against passing teams. Sterlington should feed Reagor outside on run plays and in passing situations to loosen up that middle and force those players to play sideline to sideline. Then go over top. Sterlington is more multifaceted if it so chooses to be. Should be a great game. Shame I will be in Shreveport.

OG 34-28 If y'all score 34 that means Sterlington turned the ball over on their side of the field multiple times, and/or special teams comes into play, or defensive touchdowns. Sterlington did struggle against Jena and that monster they had at tailback so it is possible I am overlooking something here. I see a 24-14 type game with Sterlington prevailing.

It’s gonna look real bad for Sterlington at the end of the season when the 1A 1/2 state champ* beat the 3A 1/2 state champ• Oak Grove isn't winning this one brother. Sterlington has the depth and their defense is very good. Crockett has an arm with a couple receivers who can get it. Better team will win this one. Oak Grove can't pass the ball. May connect on one of two balls but not near enough to win. Sterlington and Union are tops2 in 3A . 3A is st james year.. the south is back

I would be dumb. St James blew out a very solid East St John team. That is something. A big something. And, they have some solid underclassmen that are D1 Power 5 dudes. But, Sterlington won't back down. Anyone who has been paying attention, and most here do closely, realize they play up to competition as well as anyone in Louisiana. They beat Ouachita in 2003 which was one of the biggest upsets in high school history in Louisiana at the time.

The score was 30-7 with ESJ scoring a TD in the last minute of the game against the second team to make the score prettier. From what I understand, like you said, ESJ is supposed to be real good this year and compete in 5A. St James defense is just unreal, especially the DLine
