These calls in big games are getting ridiculous. The refs threw a senior linebacker, James Skalski, out of one of the biggest games of his career because he made a big hit on Justin Fields in his back before he could get the first down. There was no justification for the call, let alone a disqualification. He also got kicked out of last year’s game versus LSU for a helmet to helmet shot on Justin Jefferson, which I agree was warranted. My thing is, did he NEVER make hits like that before the CFP games??? And has targeting ever been called for a non H2H hit? At the MOST, it should have been spearing and a personal foul...disqualification should have never been an option. Not saying it changed the outcome of the game, but it definitely put Clemson at a big disadvantage by taking out its unit’s leader.

Should be changed to the same as unsportsmanlike conduct. First one a penalty, second one penalty and ejection.
