Heard the kid from Rosepine ran it up to 94 against South Beauregard. Dequincy is looking pretty good in all their scrimmages. And Kinder is no longer Kinder. Loureauville had a tough 2 scrimmages but should be ok. Doyle might be even more loaded than I thought before and might be heavy favorite, but it is just scrimmages so far.

LCA beat loreauville tonight 5-1. LCA pitching staff is really good and seemed like they were rolling guys out deep into their rotation that were good. Defensively they were solid at every position. Hitting will get better, it’s early and they have the entire lineup back from last year that scored a lot of runs led by Brylan Green.

Loreauville will be solid, I know they have a really good lefty pitcher so expect them to make at least a quarterfinal appearance. Are the Knights really that good? They look to have proven themselves so far through 2 scrimmages. It’s tough because DIII might be the most stacked division in the state this year

Talking to one of the dads tonight, they only had one senior on the field from what he said. 3 freshmen starting that started as 8th graders. Also said their freshmen and 8th graders scrimmaged Acadiana jv and gave them a run for their money. Said they have 3 solid freshmen arms that threw. |

Kinder will beat DeQuincy, I’ll give it to you that Kinder/Rosepine will be interesting. You must be from Rosepine lol... I’m not going to be biased but I am going to be realistic with you and the reality is that DQ, Kinder, and Rosepine are all pretty good this year, the chances of a 3 way tie for the title are above average this season.. |

Loreauville lost to Berwick 6-5 in the jamboree. Tigers starter pitched 2 innings then all other pitched only 1 a piece. Berwick pitchers went 1.2, 2.1, and 2. Tigers were up 5-0 after 4. Gave up 1 in the 5th on a sac fly then 5 in the 6th on 4 errors.

Kinder took down DeRidder again. 6-3 this time. Hosting a tough tournament field this weekend though. Iota, Jennings, Sam Houston, and St Ed’s come to town. Can't wait to see what happens.

Dude go sit down.. 😂 your probably jealous because your team is probably is probably mediocre.. DQ has been consistent the last 5 years and have won plenty of big games, we’ve came up short of Sulphur a couple times but that doesn’t mean we can’t get there, we have the talent and coaching, it’s all about who’s playing their best ball by the time the post season starts, DQ has been a top 4 seed 4 out of the past 5 years and beat some very good teams along the way, yes there are games we’ve should’ve won but we don’t dwell in the past, we focus on whoever is next on the schedule. |

I’m not sure how many runs they’ll score this year with so much youth on the field, but the pitching is legit.

It was a bit better than the previous two games, but Comeaux had an atrocious game defensively. It’s obvious that Coach Fontenot played for Tony Robichaux. They are super aggressive on the bases and will lay down a bunt at any time, in any situation, and in any count, and put pressure on the defense. And they do a pretty good job of manufacturing runs and taking advantage of the other team’s mistakes. That said...LCA won’t lose many if they continue to shut the opponent out every game  |
