Well we can't get 5 from Church Point, 5 from Rayne, 1 from Welsh, 1 from Jennings, and 3 from Iota to go along with the usual 15 from Crowley every year like Notre Dame does. No but you get from Elton, Hathaway, Laurterdale, Reeves, Fenton, Pine Island etc. cough cough* and 1 from Vinton

Hathaway, Reeves, Fenton, and Pine Island all put together might make 5-600 people, lol. You'd get some great advice from them on how to raise rice and crawfish. Also how to raise kids up the right way. Really good, hard working people in those areas. But great football players? And that's not a put down. Some areas are known for certain things and not known very much for other things. A Notre Dame-Peabody basketball game wouldn't be close. And a Notre Dame-Peabody football game wouldn't close either. Different schools known for different things.

If ND is select for having players out of their zone why wouldn’t a public school be select that does the same?

For the record Fenton is actually in the Welsh/Lacassine school district Fenton is in a position where they are right in between Kinder, Welsh, Lacassine, and Iowa. A majority of the kids go to Lacassine and probably a few kids at Welsh if they want to play football but I promise some kids go to Iowa and Kinder as well. Real funky area because they are right on the line where Allen, Jeff Davis, and Calcasieu meet.

Most those kids to go to Iowa though the few that have came to Kinder don't even play sports historically

And I don't understand what is it with these schools that get so good so fast. After only two or three years they're making quarterfinals, semi-finals, and sometimes finals. In my time it too quite a few years to get decent.
