Will probably be close on OG moving up to 2A or staying 1A. Probably can’t say either way right now. Would be a little surprising to see General Trass move down and OG move up. I’m not sure if there has ever been a time OG was in the higher classification in the history of the 2 schools.

I'm anticipating Grand Lake will have less than that due to the hurricanes. Not significantly less than that but less. Also thinking Basile will be over 200

Pine Prairie will move down, and MAYBE Mamou. I don’t see Ville Platte losing enough kids to fall below the cutoff. But, the incoming classes for PP is well below what they’ve been getting over the years.

My preliminary district projections using this model. I account for the fact Kentwood is going back to 1A in this model so Calvary or VC goes up to 2A and I went with Calvary. I also went ahead and projected that Evangel plays in their enrollment class and goes down to 2A.
1-2A 1. Calvary Baptist 2. D'Arbonne Woods 3. Evangel Christian 4. Green Oaks 5. Jonesboro-Hodge 6. Lakeside 7. Mansfield 8. North Caddo
2-2A 1. Beekman Charter 2. Ferriday 3. Madison Parish 4. Mangham 5. Oak Grove 6. Rayville 7. Vidalia
3-2A 1. Avoyelles 2. Holy Savior Menard 3. Lakeview 4. Many 5. Red River 6. Winnfield
4-2A 1. DeQuincy 2. Kinder 3. Oakdale 4. Pickering 5. Rosepine 6. Vinton
5-2A 1. Lafayette Christian 2. Lake Arthur 3. Notre Dame 4. Port Barre 5. Welsh
6-2A 1. Ascension Episcopal 2. Catholic-NI 3. Delcambre 4. Franklin 5. Houma Christian 6. Jeanerette 7. Loreauville 8. West St. Mary
7-2A 1. Capitol 2. Dunham 3. East Feliciana 4. Episcopal 5. Northeast 6. Port Allen
8-2A 1. Independence 2. Jewel Sumner 3. Northlake Christian 4. Pope John Paul II 5. Springfield 6. St. Helena 7. St. Thomas Aquinas 8. Varnado
9-2A 1. Cohen 2. Country Day 3. Fisher 4. Newman 5. South Plaquemines 6. St. Charles 7. St. James

I would guess Ascension Episcopal would take LCA’s place in the Notre Dame district if LCA makes the expected decision to play up.

Indy should know all the advantages of recruiting as he is in charge of the bus that pick up most recruits from 4-5 parishes. have to get up early to run that route, lots of boys and girls. doesn't want any other school to have that edge. Crowley high used to get most of the kids in town that they get. being catholic is no requirement for nd, and the ones that they loses must be to Iota as he seems to be on their case now.

We have no bus, if you can afford $8k tuition you can afford a used car and gas. Non Catholics are welcomed at ND but they also have to participate in Religion class and attend Mass.

I can say regardless of numbers Calvary will be in 2A even if they have Class A numbers. The pipeline from elementary through high school is strong and with the recent jump in new numbers I don't believe we will be Class A but we have been in Division III before and I look for us to return to that.
