This should be a good game. Homer has looked good for the 2nd year in a row with a semifinal appearance last season. Their QB is a 3 year starter who can make all the throws, and they never have a shortage of athletes/speed.
I haven’t seen Glenbrook in action this season, but I know with Feaster as the coach, they will be able to score points. They played Calvary tough in the first half of that game, so that has to count for something. I see a back and forth game but Homer pulls away late. I’ll say Homer 42-28.

Pretty good analysis I think, I'll give Homer another TD and say 49-28 Homer with it being somewhere around 21-21 at half. I'd love to see a streamed Glenbrook game

Is Homer starting the same qb who started in the jamboree? He had zero zip on the ball.

He’s not a big strong kid, but he seems to have an understanding of the offense they’re running. Main thing he needs to do is take care of the football, and get it to the playmakers. Pretty much all you can ask of a high school QB.

It may look unconventional, but some how people says it gets there.

Well Homer pulled away late in this game like I figured they would. The game was 28-21 with under 2 minutes to play. I know how good Homer is this year, so the performance by Glenbrook is definitely impressive. It’s setting up for a big matchup against Haynesville in a couple of weeks. Our guys are young but are gaining experience every week. We will have to play our best game to win. I hate to say it, but I’d rather lose to Homer than Glenbrook!

This was a good game. Homer is big up front and has tall, athletic receivers. Glenbrook was able to get pressure on the QB, which is the only way to disrupt their passing game. Can’t sit back against them. Glenbrook turned the ball over twice inside the Homer 25. Homer should definitely make a deep run in the playoffs. Feaster has his young team (only 2 seniors) playing like they are trying to prove that they belong in their new district.
