Our powerlifting team consisting of four kids, no coach and parents taking them to the local all hours fitness managed to place 3rd in state against Manys 11 kids. Winning two weight divisions and coming in ahead of every Many kid in their respective weight division. |

We dominated Powerlifting. That’s your schools problem having no powerlifting coach. You watched us win back to back state championship.
Sports are important at Many, we are what you guys used to be.

I’m not arguing that powerlifting isn’t important so don’t take it that way, but the guy who started it left and I don’t think we had anyone who had a lot of interest in keeping it going come in. We won runner up the first year and then he left if I remember correctly. I will say, the best thing Many could have done for athletics was hire Curtis. He seems to want all sports competitive and tries to bring in people who have those same goals. |

Thank you. We have some great kids and are very proud of our recent success. They work very hard.
Winnfield has a lot to be proud of they always have had great tradition.
I personally root for our district when we aren’t playing them.
We should all enjoy the good rivalries we have with each and try to stay away from tearing each other down.

DeQuincy falls to Kinder 5-4 tonight..
A very costly error in the 3rd inning made the difference, center fielder, right fielder and second baseman all went for a ball that was technically in no man’s land but it was very catchable, nobody communicated and collided as the ball dropped next to them which caused 2 runs to score.. what sucks is that there were 2 outs…
Had we had not made that mistake realistically we win 4-3, our bats really got hot in the 6th and rallied in 4 runs before a pitching change with 2 outs, then went 3 up 3 down in the top of the 7th.. a loss like tonight is tough to swallow but we’ll be fine, host Pickering tomorrow for Senior night then we wait..

Congrats to Many on the district championship. I’m glad we kept it respectful and didn’t get blown out. We have got to use this to learn from and get better. Really glad we are turning things around at RR. Still have a long ways to go but miles ahead of where we were a few years ago. |

I went to the district tournament championship tonight. First congrats to Red River they are much much much better and are in the process of building a good program.
To Winnfield I was very impressed with their team, Coach Breaux always does a great job! SS was the best player on the field.
Congrats to both those teams, as for our Many Tigers proud of them playing to their potential tonight. Excited to see how we do and how the rest of our district fares in the playoffs.

We have played them well both games this year.
We have seen their pitching, as they will save Frey for championship.
Frey is a good player but basically did nothing against us in two games.
I love our chances!!!
Lakeside and Bunkie we should be Ok against those guys.

Now they just need to take care of business and play. Last I recalled Many didn't play well the 2nd game against Rosepine. More like played okay the second time. |

Curiosity of the score had me go watch some of this game on NFHS network, Holy smokes.. the officiating was pretty awful. Pickering had the tying run on first with one out and the last two outs were very bad. Especially the last strikeout, wowser. |
