DQ i speak the truth not sure why you don’t like us i seem to always take up for you but when other teams talk bs about us you seem to join in on the bashing is it because we have had a great program and tou are not the powerhouse you once were but i will always say you us an kinder have great programs and awesome rivalries but you always partner with anyone who plays us don’t get it? Never make the mistake of siding with DQTigerguy. He’s a rent-a-sportswriter, ice cold takes consistently. I however, along with many people I know from DeQuincy, am pulling for our district mates from Rosepine. Coach Smith, Coach Ducote, and Coach Gardner are awesome guys and great coaches…their kids always play the game the right way. Good luck Eagles, Many will bring their A game due to those kids winning in everything they do up there. Wish I could make it, going to be an intense game. |

Like I said I don’t hate y’all, I just simply don’t care for y’all’s attitudes and mentality, I’d pull for y’all a lot more if there wasn’t so much arrogance amongst the fan base etc.. As far us being a power house, baseball we will always be one we just have to get over the quarterfinal curse.. football we are slowly getting back to that standard that we had back in the 80’s 90’s and early 2000’s. Rosepine used to not even be able to buy a win back then but it’s good to see that progress has since been made. |

But if you tell me you're gonna "bust me in the mouth", I'm gonna take it literally, and try to hit first, lol. But, daddy was from Opelousas and mama was from Dequincy, so I guess I'm half and half. I've always said the people in west La., from Lake Charles northward, are more like the people from north La. Hwy. 165 is the dividing line. Oakdale, Oberlin, Kinder, and Iowa westward is more like north La. people. Eastward, up to the Atchafalaya River, you can tell the difference. |

I will say this now but it ain’t the kids. Alot of them play select ball together. Competitors yes friends yes Parents and Fan’s whom don’t have a dog in the fight are the reason people talk BS about Team’s in my opinion the kid’s playing the game are the most important!
