Select or non-select. Only one of these listed is a transfer to a current select school. And half of them are from private schools to public. And all of them to schools that have had recent big time success. Itβs also a perfect example of why what the Executive Committee did was the right thing to do. Anyone who still fails to see it has their head in the sand.

Lots of kids who donβt see the field transfer tooβ¦ they donβt get posted about And just because you get posted on this thread doesnβt mean you canβt be replaced. We lost two quarterbacks and went a round further than theyβd ever taken us πβ¦ it also doesnβt mean youβre good either

Cedar Creek DL AJ Thomas has transferred to Zachary I heard his dad got a better job in Baton Rouge Zachary will brutalize everyone this season. They got Dezmin Parker back also on the DL who is as underrecruited as it gets but will be a big time prospect by end of season playing DT. Their DL is disgusting. Whole team is disgusting.

I heard his dad got a better job in Baton Rouge I'm sure he did π ππππ ironic to see the recruiters be outrecruited. Not a great history of talented Creek kids moving off to play at a big school. They usually get there and ride the pine their senior year as opposed to performing for the school that got them on the radar

They usually get there and ride the pine their senior year as opposed to performing for the school that got them on the radar Zachary actually has a set front 4. I'm not sure who sits for them with Parker Scott being a college prospect at right end. Ashley Williams (Nebraska commit) plays other end and the tackles have Landen Thomas (Western Kentucky commit) and Dezmin Parker solidified in the middle. They have some serious depth too. Too much possibly. I bet some kids are moving themselves out of Zachary to get playing time.

If high schools are going to go in this direction they should just go ahead and hire recruiting specialists as well as coaches.

Why even have attendance zones and transfer rules at all. No matter what the LH(SAd)A does, they can't completely stop people breaking the rules to go where they want to. Just open the SOB up and let people go where they want to. This way you won't have to worry about a split because You will have some school with half of their roster comprised of 3-star thru 5-star recruits while other schools will have none. Then those schools who don't have the players won't ever make the playoffs and what you are left with are semi-final and final matchups comprised of top teams whose rosters are half filled with top high school players on them facing each other, which would make for some amazing games. Yeah, I know it isn't fair for the poor teams who will never win and never make the playoffs, but what we have now isn't fair either.

Yeah, I know it isn't fair for the poor teams who will never win and never make the playoffs, but what we have now isn't fair either. As odd as it seems I'm not sure I disagree with that. That's the way it was until about 1960 and the world didn't end then. But, to be fair, things were different then. Nobody back then ever gave a thought about trying to get an athletic advantage by going after out of area athletes. Two private schools playing under different rules than public schools upset that apple cart. So now that the select-non select lines have become completely blurred and the related rules have become virtually unenforceble it seems like recruiting and transfers have become important to just about every school that emphasizes football. So maybe it would be less complicated to just say "every school for itself".

I've stated several times on this board to just let any player go play wherever he wants to. No sit out for a year rule.
