I agree. I’d have them at 1 right now. But I wouldn’t chalk up a title just yet. Logansport is playing lights out right now. OG is a machine. Mangham Is gaining momentum. Homer is ready to defend that title. East Feleciana would love to see you again… you’ve got a lot of good football teams that will have something to say about that championship. An early matchup with a team like Haynesville could be a trap game. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. But it’s going to be fun to watch it all play out Haynesville not beating anybody in the top 5, and it hurts my soul to say that. We had a chance to make a statement last Friday @ Glenbrook and got our asses handed to us. I don’t think Haynesville would beat anybody in the top 5 either but stranger things have happened. The last team anybody should ever overlook and chalk up a win before the game is Haynesville tho. Glenbrook is a very very good team so I wouldn’t get too discouraged over that. Y’all won’t win a championship this year but might make some noise |

Haynesville not beating anybody in the top 5, and it hurts my soul to say that. We had a chance to make a statement last Friday @ Glenbrook and got our asses handed to us. who is glenbrook its a school in 1A select. They are good. Should have made the playoffs last year and would have made a run for it all but since they just got in the LHSAA last year they were ineligible this year they are legible and I see them making a run for it. Very good football team. |

But north bring OG Homer Logansport Mangham GT and so on. Might pump the brakes a little there if I was you. But congrats on beating Walker. That was a 5A school and it surely will help with power points. Kentwood is back to where they were before they left to 2A. To be honest with you I hope OG sees Kentwood again... Should be an amazing game. |

They have some ballers and a great coach!! |

Kentwood isn’t the only team playing a tough schedule. I don’t think any of the top 5-6 are gonna be scared of each other regardless of regular season results. I actually expect y’all to beat Amite. Just looking at scores they don’t seem as strong as last year. |

I know the score looks tight w East Fel vs Kentwood but trust me it wasn’t. It was 32-6 not to mention Kentwood threw 2 picks and fumbled once inside the 30. Kentwood took out 6’3 safety (cramps) who guarded the 6’8 receiver and when they did East fel threw 2 jump ball score to him..he couldn’t do nothing against starters. East fel is still a good team as well as OG Logansport and Mangham….Manngham may be to one dimensional to beat the top tier teams. I wouldn’t count out Mangham for a second. I’ve seen them play and they are huge and fast. They will likely be the biggest team across the lines in non select division IV and Williams might be the best skill player in the bracket. Meeks is one of the best offensive coordinator in the state too. They can matchup with anybody. |
