#8 Montgomery at #1 Oak Grove
#5 Lakeside at #4 DeQuincy
#6 Oakdale at #3 French Settlement
#7 Welsh at #2 Mangham

Oak Grove will probably win easily.
Magham will win.
Haven't seen the rest. I'll be surprised if Oak Grove doesn't win it all.

I will be going with Mangham and Oak Grove in the Championship. I have personally seen these two teams this year. Both are great programs with a fierce rivalry when they meet up on any kind of field. This would be a great rematch from last years semi finals games. I think Oak Grove beat them pretty good in the district this year.

Here is my opinion on division 4. Oak grove did beat Mangham towards end of the season, but the way Mangham has played all season Mangham will 10 run Welsh who couldn't even 10 run a Centerville team who hasn't played anyone with a winning record until district. oak grove still has to beat Lakeside in the semis because Dequincy won't beat lakeside.

Oak Grove and Lakeside , Mangham and French Settlement in semi finals. I dont know anything about French Settlement but from looking at their schedule they will be tough. Lakeside was tough last year at the 5 seed and are the 5 seed again this year. Oak Grove played French settlement last year in playoffs and Mangham played Lakeside. I know you cant count out any team in the playoffs. I do know this you better not count Oak Grove nor Mangham out.

 man looks like this Lakeside and Dequincy game is getting some heat haha by the way saw 2 folks from Lakeside last night at the OG and Montgomery game they jetted out fast whoever they were once the game was over. On other note I was impressed with the crowd size that Montgomery brought.

man looks like this Lakeside and Dequincy game is getting some heat haha by the way saw 2 folks from Lakeside last night at the OG and Montgomery game they jetted out fast whoever they were once the game was over. On other note I was impressed with the crowd size that Montgomery brought. I’m glad y’all didn’t 10 run Montgomery. Still got a ways to go, but they’ve really tried to improve the baseball program the last few years. Glad to see them put up a fight. |

Had a little misfortune here and there. But overall they are a good baseball team who really never made much mistakes. They are very disciplined. |

Credit to Oak Grove for applying the pressure. Those corn fed children from OG can absolutely swing the bat! Side note: that was some of the worst behind the plate umpiring I’ve seen. Both ways, felt bad for the kids on both teams. No one knew where the zone was. |

I was at the DQ game and yes the plate umpire was very bad missed some very crucial calls in my opinion. Amd seemed to miss some calls for the DQ that should have been a strike. But congrats to oak Grove they played well and hit very well

Worst I’ve seen in awhile, if that’s the best the LHSAA has to offer then there’s a serious problem, can’t believe he was even chosen to call a game in the state tournament, certain crews are selected for the tournament but the LHSAA needs to take a closer look at some of those guys, heard he was from the Ruston association? Not sure how try that is but he was God awful! I’ve never yelled at an umpire or official so much in my life until today. Absolutely pitiful.. Our boys player their tails off and I agree they made some uncharacteristic mistakes but I don’t believe this game defines our team, regardless it was a hell of season! Back to the lab because we will be back! |

I watched that whole game. It was a very enjoyable to watch.
Only thing I wish was different was, and I know it’s high school boys, that someone would’ve patted the DQ first baseman on back. He played a good game. Just had that mistake at the end and I watched a lot of teammates walk right by him while he was on the ground.

We’ve had several games this season where we left the bases loaded and it came back to bite us.. that’s truly been our achilles heel all season, I can count atleast 5 games lost because of that but they’ll have it cleaned up next season, we will be a dangerous team next year. |

I believe bases were loaded 3 times I know once in the 7th once in the 4th I believe and in the 2nd. But the second inning Dequincy pulled them through. That was the inning they scored 4 runs. Did not look good for OG at that time. OG also had left several on the bases as well. but the difference from that was DeQuincy usually had only 1 out with bases loaded. |
