Dawson (Bains) West High School (Jackson) East High School (Clinton) Princeton (Shreveport) In my area there was these LIALO schools O.W. Dillon (Kentwood) Washington Parish High School (Franklinton) Was the runner up in 1955 of whatever class they were in. Lost 14-13 to an LIALO team in or near Haynesville. Chahta Ima (Lacombe) J.J. Gulledge (Tylertown MS, probably not LIALO but the Mississippi equivalent) Central (Bogalusa) Won an LIALO championship in 1947 or 1949 and another one sometime later. Wesley Ray (Near Angie, LA and Varnado) Ray Brooks of Washington Redskins O-line fame went here. Played RB and was a load! Westside (Amite) Second Ward (Edgard) not in my area but the local team played them a few times in playoffs. Rosenwald (Covington) St Tammany (St Tammany Parish not sure exact location)
Teams, scores, rosters etc are extremely hard to find on these teams. I have some on WPHS and could find some on Central but it is limited.

We can't forget about Grand Avenue (DeQuincy) which famously won a basketball game 211-29 and is ranked 80th on ESPN'S 100 biggest blowouts in sports history. Also there are G.W. Carver (Kinder) and C.P. Adams (Oberlin) that I think we're in LIALO but can't confirm

I believe I have made a breakthrough on segregation era high schools, locations and names. Most of these schools are likely former members of LIALO. More to come tomorrow

Segregation Era Louisiana High Schools/Likely LIALO Members.
I have excluded schools such as Jeff Davis Industrial School or Elton Negro School. Schools know as (insert town name) Negro School were usually in the early 1900s before sports became the norm in high schools. Schools known as Industrial, Technical, or Agricultural school were likely just tech schools that didn't have sports in the first place.

hornetsqbmagee: Sam Barthe Hornets, won the 1976 LISA Football championship-played in a pouring rain against Central Private. Hornets won 7-0 when our third string QB threw a desperation 4th down pass to Owen Brennan (son of the Commanders Palace and Brennan's Restaurant family) for the only score. I was the starting QB the year before. Barthe was sold in 1979 to Ecole Classique, who remained a powerhouse in AA LHSAA for many years before they finally graduated off all of the Barthe kids, who had all been playing intramural tackle football since 2nd grade in the Hornet League... a great tradition at Barthe since the late 50's. We learned our offense and defensive systems and played them for 8 to 10 years before we would graduate. Our big rivals in LHSAA were St. Martins, Newman, Country Day, Ridgewood, etc. When we joined LISA, the big rivals were Riverside, Valley Forge, Jackson Prep (MS), Indianola Academy (MS), Escambia Academy (FL), and Prytania of New Orleans who we tended to beat like a drum year after year!

Still need to correct the 86 Riverside vs Trinity Heights score. And what source do you have for Trinity Heights over Plain Daeling in 1984?

All the L.I.S.A. championship scores come from Monroe News-Star, Alexandria Town Talk or Shreveport Times. Contacted Riverside to see about score of the 1973 championship vs Valley Forge and double checking for which score and opponent was correct for 1986 championship. They confirmed both were wins but didn't have scores but was still checking. Not sure If I'll get a answer soon since school year over may have to wait till Sept. I have lost access to the three papers archives for about two months or would double check them myself. If I could see a newspaper article with the score I'd get it changed but as of now have two different scores and opponents for 1986 championship. Still trying to also find out if there was two or only one division in 1970. All I can find in papers just say academy playoffs not if one division semifinals or both divisions championships and papers I need are not online.

Will inform 14-0 productions to change webpage on the 1986 score. Now if we could only get the 1973 score of Riverside beating Valley Forge and answer the 1970 question. I tried new access to papers thru my library but had less than what I was getting and didn't get any new info.

64 and 14-0 productions did great job finding a book with list of LISA football champions 1970-1987. Turns out I had a few mistakes, sorry. Hoping 1988-1991 are all right. Only question in my mind is what was the 1971 game I list as A championship because the official list in the book does not have that game.

I'm going to bet that the '71 game was a playoff game. But it's been fun reading all the information and history about this league.

Was able to get access to Monroe newspaper for 1971 and saw article I am sending to 14-0 productions. It lists a LISA class A championship for 1971. The following papers that would have score are not online. But when I had access to Alexandria and Shreveport papers I got the score. Tensas 15 Clairborne 14. This is now everything I wanted to know about LISA football. Now to find info missing info about Arkansas Christian Schools Athletic Association ?-2013 then name changed to Association of Christian Educators of Louisiana 2014-2015 football. I am missing the 2007 champions and score of championship game if there was one. I know the 2006 champion and there may not have been a championship game. Don't know for sure if there was a association/league before 2006. If not just need 2007 info. Some of the teams were Lafayette Christian Lighthouse Christian Breaux Bridge Christian Arcadian Homeschool Highland Baptist Christian Pope John Paul II Academy (also called John Paul the Great) West Monroe Northeast Baptist Covenant Christian

I had Sam Barthe beating Talluah 7-0 in championship game according to Monroe newspaper report. That is correct. It was against Tallulah. I played in that game. We felt they watered the field before the game it was so muddy. They had to stop our offensive running game. It would have not been close on a dry field.

I know one thing for sure! You'll never see my school's name on there! Hahaha Grawood Christian School In the early '60s, when I was still in elementary school, we started attending Community Bible Church. At that time they owned the school too, and many of our youth Sunday school classes were held in the Grawood classrooms. Our pastor, Dr. Ledford, was the school principal too. It was just one wing at that time. Then in the mid '60s they built a second wing, and then a third. I have fond memories of those years. By the early '70s they had a gym and it was a growing school. Seems like I remember them winning some sort of football championship one year.
