I only see our games so i cannot say about anyone outside of 2a but figured this was a good topic to discuss since we are almost to the end of the season and playoffs will be starting soon. I nominate Day-Day Washington from Calvary. YES I KNOW IT IS DADA NOT DAY-DAY BUT PPL NOT FROM CALVARY ALWAYS SAY IT WRONG WHEN THEY READ DADA SO IM JUST HELPING BE CLEAR BY SAYING DAY-DAY! I looked at his stats on maxpreps and added in what the shreveport times said about last night stats and he has over 1500 yards and 22 touchdowns so far this year. that is without getting the ball last week and lot of games getting benched early and against some bigger school teams we have played.
so thats my nomination. Who has stood out to you guys so far and why.

Ok this is a flat out lie. He is listed at 885 yards on Maxpreps not including the week 9 game. He has been one of the most disappointing players in 2A this season. Don't post things assuming people won't fact check this. Come back with actual facts and we will have a discussion

LOLOLOL your most disappointing player has 22 tds. Maybe Im a dummy but that seems like a high number. His yards arent as much as others but thats probably bc he has not played the whole game alot of times because of blowouts and last week he did not get 1 handoff. and then they keep trying to throw the ball all game even though our qb cant hit the broadside of a barn unless it is painted in the other teams color. I bet they are wishing kiethen lewis was still at calvary but thats off topic I promised I would not be negative anymore about that. who is your choice for 2a if dada / day-day is most disappointing --- lololol again

Some time after week 10 is over we will likely see threads to vote on Offensive POY, Defensive POY, and COY for each class

I'll go with Dantrieze Scott. Kid has 57 Tackles 32 TFL and 6 sacks, also 14 rec 350 yards 6 tds. He is a monster for Ferriday.

Kelton Moss from J-Hodge should be in consideration for DPOY for 1A. He has 99 tackles, 15 TFL, and 4 Sacks as a DT/DE. Hopefully JH can make a run in the playoffs so he can get some more eyes on him. MaxPreps is going to say he has 94 because they haven’t updated our stats on there yet.

2A Jordan Preuett QB 1834 pass yards 24 Tds 5 int 198 rushing 4 Tds 124.4 QBR This is according to Max preps. Going by stats he is number one. Stats don't define the best player tho. RB from Calvary is pretty darn good. Tymann Sanders at North Caddo is also a threat to take over a game every week. This is just in area that I follow.

I agree that stats don’t matter because anyone can rack up stats against a soft team...and yes DaDa is a good RB but I’ll have to throw the name A.J. Carter out there for 2A, hands down a game changer...he has been sidelined for a bit but he is back and probably the best RB in the state in any classification when healthy IMHO...

Firehead99 and Dandyandy77, please stop attacking Calvary's quarterback. You both are proving to everyone that you have no idea about the team concept. Ya'll are two huge reasons why people won't want to bring their kids to Calvary. My brother read this and told me point blank that he wouldn't want his son at Calvary if the parents are this bad. I'm asking you both to stop being abusive and start being adults. It's one thing to critique a player, but to blame him for losses? Absurd. To say he can't hit the broadside of a barn when he has a 61% completion percentage? Ridiculous.
Football teams win as a team on ALL three phases of the game or they lose as a team on ALL 3 phases of the game. Is DaDa a great running back? Absolutely. Let's just remember that he has to have a little help to get where he is going. DaDa is incapable of running the football by himself against 11 players. He has to have an offensive line and wide receivers that can block for him to open the holes he needs to run the football. Just like the quarterback needs to offensive line to pass protect for him to be able to throw the football. It takes a team to win. Period.
Now please, both of you, I'm going to ask you for a favor. If all you are going to do is spew hatred, resentment and discontent, I would ask both of you to stop posting.
