This is the only year in the last decade where richwood could have beaten OCS. Most years it wouldn't even be close. So not sure why you think that's an insult to sterlington. Nothing against richwood. I just don't understand that comment

Yo wood I been watching your posts and you done insulted everybody from the Grove to OCS to St James to Sterlington to the refs to well ad infinitum. Gotcha something that gonna help you so much at... mentalhealth.openpathcollective.org/anger-management/promotion/You can thank me later when you doing so much better.. And be sure to get your head coach to go here too and maybe he can learn not to continue hurting ya'lls team by getting sooo many personal fouls called on him and not get thrown out of so many games. PS.. say hello to kingboo from all us when you at the class... and see if he got his swinging boot unstuck yet.

That's very nice but will be gathering with family and not going to be at the game this week. Nickname scrollmaster given many years ago by my youngest son because I engrave guns.

The name Jim isn't awakening any memories but there were two very talented engravers of note around the NE Lousiana area. Both taught me much about the craft in early years and both were gentlemen of outstanding character and sadly both have passed away. Ken Hefner more recently and H.L.(Hoss) Logan who died 2002. Of these two Hoss Logan was connected both with television and radio as an announcer. He was the deep rich voice on the "Money Sonny" commercials and more noteably emcee of the famous Louisiana Hayride in Shreveport and coined the now famous phrase "Elvis has left the building". He also authored the book "Elvis, Hank and Me" after retiring to Seadrift Texas. There was also E.C. Prudhomme from Shreveport probably the most celebrated of any Louisiana engraver. He died late 80's early 90's and an unbelievable Master Craftsman. Many examples of his work are always on display at the R.W. Norton museum in Shreveport. If you're ever in that area and have time the Norton museum may be the most amazing display of Louisiana craftsmen and history you will ever see and it's free.

How long does it take to do a gun? I have only cared to work on hand guns so long guns can take longer but full coverage on hand gun 80-150 hours depending an pattern and how much prep work required.
