What are Barber’s college plans? Would love to see him go to SU. He doesn’t have any yet He’s a junior and really hasn’t been pursued all that much I suspect bc he’s short But he’s a player as u know I would bet he would love to get attention from southern Williams is just a sopre as scary as that is Oh SU won’t get Williams 😂😂😂😂😂 but Barber would be perfect. He’s one of those guys who gets looked over because of his height and then comes to SU and dominates for 4 years. Austin Howard, Leonard Tillery, and Willie Quinn were all guys who were overlooked coming out of high school because of their height and they all dominated for 4 years.

Coach said he getting a little interest from some schools but no offers For barber I think the dome game could be big for him I’m sure scouts will be in attendance Oh ACHS knows all about Austin Howard lol He ripped us apart for 4 years He could chunk it on the mound to in baseball

Good points about the first time being there, of course ACHS has played there twice but not these particular kids so I take ur point Yea the qb can throw it when needed for sure, thing is in playoffs especially we have jumped up on teams with the run early and then in second half mainly running clock to shorten game Thing a lot of people don’t realize is ACHS only loses three starters from this team so the majority of this team is back next season The idea about being there and if the moment is too big for your kids is a very real thing. But I also think having a coach that's been there is important too. ACHS coaching staff has the experience if being there before, but Trev Faulk also brought a Vermillion Catholic Team there some years back. Its how well these coaching staffs do in making the kids think its just another game when we all know its probably the biggest game they will ever play in. I don't know much about either team but I'm hopping that its a good ballgame. Nobody on the ACHS staff has been to the dome before.

If nothing else, I would love for Coach Bolotte to win a state title. I was fortuanate enough to get to hang around the White Castle program when he was head coach of those Bulldogs. I have always had a high amount of admiration and respect for coach Bolotte. Honestly, his influence was one of the reasons I got into coaching.
Really great man and I wish all the best for him.

Yeah the key for LCA is to load the box without cramming everybody too close to line of scrimmage. I remember Creek did that one year against us when they had one of their better teams. They had 9-10 guys within a yard or two of the line. It didn't end well for them. If you get a crease at all or pop one into the second level there is nobody home in that defensive scheme. Sounded like that is what happened to St Mary's as i listened on the radio. By the way your color guy is hilarious AC fan's. He sounded like he might have had a few before kickoff lol. You can load the box without putting yourself in that scenario. Sellout for the run but keep your defense at multiple levels so one pop doesn't end in watching the back go 80

Could have been very interesting had their QB not fumbled in the endzone in the 1st quarter.
Advantage ACHS has is that they have 4 solid RBs with exceptional speed and their QB is very very good at running that offense. If you miss a tackle you can almost give them 15-30 yards per play. Talent and discipline is a scary combination.

He was cracking me up. It was like the play by play guy had his buddy watching the game with him. He was so excited. A couple of times he gave a premature "he's gone" on runs that went for 20-30 yards lol. He just couldn't contain himself. You could hear the joy and excitement he had for y'alls program. Enjoy guys it's a great time. But let me warn you it definitely can be dampened with a loss at the dome. The 97 and 04 losses in the dome where tough to swallow

That bulldog team really sounds impressive and I'm not to sure of what LCA has so I can't say it either way.

Ascension Catholic has the best color guy in Louisiana High School radio broadcast history.
Ask him, he'll tell you the same!
