Crazy sequence. LCA misses, gets the offensive board, outback gets blocked. Scramble for the ball, looks like a foul but no call, ball goes out of bounds, LCA ball :19 left. I’m ok with now foul call there

OCS with a poor possession, very poor. LCA moving on! Congrats Didn't seem to be in much of a hurry on that possession. That was a real nail biter. That was a really good OC team and Hamilton is just as good. Should be an interesting game.

Question. Does Jehovah Jireh go door to door recruiting like the Jehovah witnesses?

Question. Does Jehovah Jireh go door to door recruiting like the Jehovah witnesses? Hahahahahahahahaha! I don’t think so. Ricks is so well known in the area and he’s one of the great Harvey Adgers mentees, doesn’t need to. They will get there’s, they have to fight Madison Prep for them

I just want to speak on the character of Devonta Lee. After we whipped Amite last Friday he could have been pissed of or had a bad attitude but he didn't. Instead after our fans stormed the court and we celebrated he hung around and took pictures with several of our young fans with a smile on his face. I may not be an Lsu fan but I'm a Devonta Lee fan now.

He really is a hard worker, respect people, and love life in general.

Weston falls short to Zwolle in their first semi-final appearance. Neither team had a good game it seemed, although I haven’t seen any class B ball this year. Still a good season for Weston but they will be losing a lot, including #1 and #20 who were the only real contributors today.

I dont know how it translated on tv, but I dont think the better team won tonight. I think most in the Coliseum not wearing green would agree. The officiating wasnt egregiously bad but Zwolle is a Lake Charles blue blood and it showed. They got all the 50/50 calls. BTW, #20 is my son. Hes a junior. Having said that, and after playing them both, Simsboro bout to repeat in convincing fashion.

I was expecting a lot more out of #15, especially after seeing him on Aaron’s Aces and hearing about his sharpshooting all year. He seemed scared to be aggressive and was constantly picking his dribble up. That might’ve been part of the game plan tho.

I only remember one made 3. Possibly 2. Probably average 6-7 makes a game.

You can rarely count on outside shooting in the semis or finals unless your team has had experience playing in large arenas throughout the year. The depth perception is killer in the Coliseum. I've noticed a LOT of teams air-balling corner 3's so far in the tournament, and the teams aren't given any practice times to adjust other than the usual warm up period. Still a great accomplishment getting this far though! Congrats!

I saw that U-High got beaten pretty handily by St. Thomas More. Was this a big upset, or was U-High down a lot more than usual this year?

Haven’t seen University but I drew both of STM’s playoff games leading up to the Top 28. They’re a deep, defensively-oriented team that has been peaking at the right time.

I have been against the split in the LHSAA mainly because it makes the Division playoffs so watered down, but the Division II bracket may be one of the deepest Divisions we have seen since the split. St. Louis at 10 made a nice run, Parkview upset Loyola early on, and now St. Thomas More beats favored U-High to get to play in the finals.
