Bob, I have a question. Why do you continuously defend the split even when noone else is bringing it up? The split is here, even though it's totally screwed up. Just curious. It gets old. We cant even have a normal conversation about football without it being brought up. No doubt!!

So any horse, if properly trained, with the best facilities, nutrition, etc......can win the triple crown. Heck. Thats good to know! I would have to say you are WRONG once again. Considering that there have only been 12 winners in 140 years, and prior to last year's winner there had not been one in 37 years, I would say that it is tough to win no matter what the circumstances.

I've seen stallions sniffing around fillies and high school boys at the prom and I can't say there's much of a difference.

Would you say its as easy to win with a plow horse as compared to a thoroughbred...............I mean with proper training of course.

So let me make sure I understand what you're saying... You're comparing private school kids to thoroughbreds and public school kids to mules?
Remind me again which side you're on?

No one side, these comparisons are so fun that you can only joke about them. If you want to talk private/public let's talk about it, but trying to use horses is fun.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised that a guy who is so obviously over-compensating that he has to use 2 words in his handle to describe what he is lacking would feel the need to call someone else pee wee.

You call people names (third grade humor) and then say you left your third grade humor a while back. You can't do it and then claim that you don't do it.

Admitting you have a problem is the first step to getting help.

People keep saying its about 2 schools. Not true. Its about how schools aquire, deny, and retain student populations and the advantage, disadvantages, and differences.

Bob, again, you refuse to acknowledge that there are vast differences in the way different PUBLIC schools "aquire" students. This separation was done SOLELY on the basis of public/private. In fact, if there is a private school (there may be I don't know) who has all kids from one attendance zone, they are still considered "select", even though they obviously have the disadvantage of charging tuition when the public school in the same zone does not. There are advantages and disadvantages on both sides of the public/private issue. You guys fail to see the advantages you have while assuming all privates are bending the rules and using every possible method they can to take advantage of the perceived advantages they have, while at the same time ignoring their disadvantages. Once again, it's over. You've won. Go ahead and "aquire" all the rings and trophies you want and brag about how awesome you are. Just don't be surprised when the majority gets tired of the same people winning over and over and they outvote you into a system you don't agree with.

Just don't be surprised when the majority gets tired of the same people winning over and over and they outvote you into a system you don't agree with. I have "assumed" nothing. Also, the split was based on select enrollment vs non select enrollment, NOT public private. My opinion in factually based, not conjecture. It is now nor never has been about winning rings. Its about the CHANCE to compete for championships. NOT about the fact that you will actually win a championship. The mantra of "wait till the same people win over and over and they outvote you into a system" blah blah blah, is again, conjecture. NEVER once has anyone said a word about any school who wins with the kids in there geographic area winning. However, you are correct, we have won. Other states are also fed up with this old system of the rich getting richer by prostituting kids for athletic wins. The winds of change, they are a blowing....
