What does everyone expect?
My first instinct is that nothing will pass, at least nothing that really alters the playoff structure. What say yall?

I agree that nothing will pass, or even be voted on. I believe we will see the privates take control of their side of the playoffs or leave. Then the LHSAA will re-split at some point when the bad coaches realize they still can't win. Nevelle, Acadiana, WM, Kinder, Haynesville etc will ask to join with the privates. Week, week, principals and bad coaches are more to blame for this than E, or JC.

This shows JUST how out of touch you are with the reality of the situation. I'll say this, you are great fun! Do all websites get a village or are we just blessed on this board?

They won't have a choice after y'all cull them. I'm guessing your feelings are hurt that no one is looking to cull you, they like teams they can beat! Sha baby you need hug Why wouldn't a legendary record setting coach that doesn't lose any players to a private school and has parents move to your zone not want to play anybody anywhere? And maybe you can answer what btown refuses to answer. What your take on the parishes that don't have or adhere to zones and their principals can refuse or accept out of zone kids?

Nothing good will come of it. Tyranny will rule the day, then private schools will leave the LHSAA. The LHSAA will lose approximately 40% of its revenue stream maybe more, be forced to make draconian reductions in staff or will be forced into raising fees just to keep the lights on. Unintended consequences. Just as EBR school board was sent reeling both financially and politically after Zachary and Central left for independence, so will the LHSAA. Now EBR public schools are considered the worst in the state surpassing NOLA as the leader in poor academics. (exception is Baton Rouge High) Meanwhile the private and charter schools in EBR are thriving, growing and expanding in number.

S reduction in the Corporate headquarters staff is just what the doctor ordered. Best thing for all parties involved is for the big athletic driven privates to go there own way.

But I think they only have to pay him if he sticks around. If he gets another job with less drama and moves on his own accord, then they do not have to pay him. If they were dumb enough to give him turns that allow him to leave and still gets paid, I will apply for that job tomorrow. LOL.....

This is real close to what happened to make all the 2A public schools scream for a split to begin with when the LHSAA Pricipals voted to make all schools play to their size (numbers). I believe that if JC, E, & whoever else everyone id's as a (factory school) would have stayed in 5A the split wouldn't have happened or if 6A would have been offered for whoever wanted to play in the top division.

And we have another great lie, that there are "big athletic driven privates" Not a single big private school is athletic driven, they are ACADEMICS driven, the athletics success is just a wonderful consequence of establishing a powerful tradition of excellence in all things, Spiritual, Academic and Athletic. You miss two of the three necessary components of continual success in the public system today. Those private schools that do not take care of the class room CLOSE. Not so for the public schools, they just keep pouring kids through a failed system and wonder why they have no tradition, no true pride nor success. There are a few publics that have attained the same level of success put they all have done established outside of the traditional public school. Barbe, W. Monroe, St. Tammany schools and some Charters in NOLA.
