Doesn't matter anyway... I want a Calvary Baptist / Riverside / Notre Dame / St. Charles catholic match up. That is a real football game...

Yeah, your right, the public games were not "real" football. Try telling that to Zachary & John Ehret, Neville & Karr, Lutcher & St. James, Kinder & Mangham and Kentwood & Haynesville.

4 votes, 3 years. All the same. Now lets work on THIS system that the obvious majority want. We can make it better. If a segment wants to form another association, ok. Fine. Just get on with it.

I would play rather them, then wonder. That is the difference. Y'all are scared and use the "excuse of the day" not to. Grow a pair already

Ok, how would you make it better??? Select schools pays the same dues that Non-select schools pay but are now shut out of the championship process. BTW, I'm ok with that... I wouldn't want to play a chump team or teams in the playoffs anyway. But I would really like to know how you would make it better....

But that makes sense when the private supporters say it to the publics. You have to work harder and you have to train harder. You know there is this book called "The Little Train That Could", maybe you and Indy can read it to each other. As a private supporter I NEVER said that to a public school supporter... I have integrity.... When I was a public school supporter I wanted to play the privates... I think that they are a good measuring stick... Root beer is evidently a bigbob disciple. 1. Make a statement that references hearsay and conjecture. 2. Defend that statement with generalities. 3. Change the subject when you start to lose. 4. Declare yourself the winner of the new topic even though no one else was talking about it.

How long will it be before the whiners want to split the districts? Public/private all districts and all state honors? You can't fix scared.

Ridiculous statement Ways to make it better, simple 1) Cut down on classifications. 4 non select, 3 select 2) 1A combines what is now B and C. They simply dont play football if they dont field a team.

Public/private all districts and all state honors? You can't fix scared. So it would be a full split? But all under the LHSAA umbrella? Sounds like the privates would be in favor of that rather than having to split off and start a new entity.

Before or shortly after that the privates will leave, which is what the weak majority wants. But, answer this. How long before y'all vote to have split districts? Kinders coach made a fool of himself pleading for ND not to be in his district. What if ND or Calvery ended up in Booker T Many's district? How long?

True...the privates actually have more per capita championships. Probably need to reduce it to two private divisions if you want all things to be fair.

Please Find the rule in the LHSAA handbook that allows teams to play down? I bet church point wouldn't complain much to get beat by Nevelle 68-0 in the first round. Find the rule

The vote showed that that split supporters know what they want. The non split side could not even come together on the other 4 choices. Highest % was 17% on one of the options. There was around 43% if you combined the other 4 options. If they would have voted together I would say there would be something to talk about. It shows that the non split have more of individual motives than the split side.

Indy this is why you have college division 1 and 2 , Usssa, nations baseball single, double, triple and major ball. It separates it by equal. When you have private schools who pull from 3 to 4 parishes like they do and have 80-120 kids in a team that is the difference. They are getting most of the time 50-60 percent of those athletes can play at the next level it's a numbers game man. You can say a small 2a school can compete year in and year out maybe once in ten years will they have. Team that signs 3-4 kids when a lot of privates sign that each year. It's not about being scared. I am from a small public school and have played the top teams in the state. Heart goes a long way but talent always overtakes that man. Enough is enough over 256 principles have decided that this is the best and most fair way to do it. I would trust that judgement all other Ideas were about equally voted on except to keep it like it is which had 56 percent of vote. It's not just football man all sports. Baseball look at 2a privates hammered teams this year. It's a numbers game and besides the big 5a and few 4a schools most of the talent is in privates. Like I said smaller publics have Talent and kids that can play at next level but not more than a hand full. If you can't see this then send me your address so I will know where to send the Kleenex because you will have a long year. I do wish your team luck next year just like I wish my own school.

Let's compare Menard "select" vs Many "non-select". Same district 3-2A, look at the rosters, look at the how many kids were offered, are being looked at, or are playing at the next level that qualify academically & keep grades to stay eligible. I will bet you may be surprised to know that Many has more than double the amount of kids at the next level, than Menard. I agree that there are schools that have a higher percentage of talent than they probably should have, but I feel that you cut off your nose in spite of your face.

But that makes sense when the private supporters say it to the publics. You have to work harder and you have to train harder. You know there is this book called "The Little Train That Could", maybe you and Indy can read it to each other. No split opponent here has said that. Not one. All have offered or at least indicated they may be ok with a myriad of suggestions that would take that 120 member 2A private school, or that one that won the last 2 state championships, and move them up away from the schools ( public and private) that cannot reach that level. The issue is that guys like you dancing and thumbing your nose with glee that you moved Ecole Classique out of your brackets. These middling and lower private programs deserved the protection of their brethren in LHSAA ( hint, your school) and instead they got flipped the bird. Prejudice/jealousy against private schools is the only reason I can come up with as to why a more sensible solution couldn't be reached. There are many options that would have solved the problem and the only acceptable one was get rid of all privates?!
