Y'all want to play the best. I would actually pay money to watch y'all both get skulldrug by Rummel or JC, quit whining and MOVE UP. Or stay down where you are pretty much guaranteed to win.

If the circumstances presents itself we will play, win or lose but no running or hiding.you can't say that truthfully can you? Who is your team anyway? Is it even real? Why a secret, you embarrassed of it like bigBoob?

So you saying vote either for stay the same and option 1, then stay same option 2, then when neither pass then option 3 and stay the same then option 4 and stay the same. So I guess you saying let's say if trump beats Hilary, then allow another vote between trump and sanders then if he still wins then trump versus let's say Peyton manning then if he still wins trump versus shaq. I should host that tv show because Come On Man. Guess we should all buy powerball tickets and when we lose say wait the winning numbers is what I had originally wrote but changed at last minute so can I still get the pot Well if you're trying not to have President Trump bc he will get us nuked, like the split might nuke the LHSAA... I think the exec committee sabotaged this process

I got the impression following the vote on Twitter that when Principals found out that their vote wouldn't take effect until January that they were pissed and basically just voted to get out of there and didn't take it seriously. Now obviously I wasn't there so I really have no way to know....
My guess is there will be another vote in January.

Showing up to vote shows how serious they were and pissed because they found out the other items could have waited until Jan. to be voted on.

Time to move forward and start improving the split. Need 16 team brackets and how to balance the select side. Arguing anything else is a waist of time. Move forward.

Now obviously I wasn't there so I really have no way to know.... My guess is there will be another vote in January. They were pissed but any big changes like that shouldn't have been in place in the middle of a two year period. It should be in place on a fresh re-class. The fact is we have a block of self serving principals that have controll of the LHSAA. They will vote their interest over the interest of the whole LHSAA. They will not stop until they have one of their own as executive director and the majority of the executive council. There were some good ideas yesterday but the way it was set up there was no chance and most coaches and principals against the split knew this, it wasn't hard to see. Some combo of these ideas is the answer but won't happen until after an implosion of some kind, wether financial, legal, legislative, or a merger after the privates leave.

It is not a block of principals it is the majority of principals that vote for the split. Until Bonine and the executive committee stop trying to use every trick to vote out the split nothing will change. The harder the Bonine and the committee pushes the harder the majority pushes back. The meeting clearly showed the lack of communication nothing but pointing at each other as to who wanted the meeting. Poor leadership is the blame nothing else.

Poor leadership hasn't helped, but vote me a trophy mentality was here WAY before bonnine. That is the bigger problem.

This vote went EXACTLY as I predicted for the reasons I have previously stated. Again, this vote is not, never was, never will be, about unfair, inherent or apparent advantages private schools have over public schools in athletics. Championship vs Championships, one on one, public and privates are equal. Non Championship public schools are not on the same level as Neville, W. Monroe, Acadiana, Kentwood, Kinder, etc etc etc. There is NO difference between those that win championships. It is all about the attempt to diminish private schools. These principals see their public schools spiraling out of control and failing. They see private schools across the state growing in number and in enrollment. This moves dollars out of the public sector isolating the traditional public education. It is the passing of a failed institutions dying attempt to regain its legitimacy and control. It will fail and take the LHSAA down with it. A new organization and total split of private schools from the LHSAA is now inevitable. I want to encourage the private school principals, school boards directors etc, to move quickly and decisively. Corpe Diem your moment is at hand. Stay in the LHSAA as a second rate, red headed stepchild or take control of your own destiny. Be independent or remain subservient to the public school principals. FREEDOM!!!!!!!!!!!
Just yesterday, the executive committee released the findings that losing 1/3 of its members would result in a minimum loss of $1mm. Conservative number at best make them deal with it.

Arguing anything else is a waist of time. Move forward. This. There is nothing left to say. The majority of public schools have spoken and they want nothing to do with private schools. At least we know how they really feel. There is no reason at all to remain in the LHSAA. They have made their decision and there is nothing the select schools can do about that. The public school principals who voted in favor of the split would do well to remember that not all public schools are created equal. They have their differences as well. There will come a day when a school who has not been successful begins to wonder why and looks across town or to the next parish and wonders how that other school can have so much success. What advantages to they enjoy that we do not? The moment that thought begins to germinate, a new wave of split talk will begin as well. how long before the successful public schools are forced into their own, separate playoff bracket? When that time comes, will they meekly follow the will of the majority or will they look to the private schools and ask to join their league?

Have fun with your kind Indy. We will have fun without you and we won't miss you. Na na na na na na na na hey hey hey GOODBYE See, I don't get this. You are celebrating, actually overtly CELEBRATING, that private schools have been relegated to their own little separate space. No sadness about LHSAA being divided. No wishing for a solution that would fix the problem of obvious outlier programs. Just celebrating that WE got rid of THEM!!! You don't know me at all, or what the school I support athletically does or doesn't do, what financial issues it may have, etc. I've been nothing but civil on this board and at every turn have tried to suggest solutions that could solve your issue while skipping the part about punishing Vandebilt because no one can beat Curtis. Despite all this, you are actively celebrating that my school has been relegated away from you and you don't have to see them. But no, it isn't about dislike of private schools.

It's almost comical for you to suggest to "move forward". You and your ilk have campaigned NON-STOP for the split. It was voted in place again (stupidly) yesterday and you're STILL on here campaigning for it. But everyone else should move forward, huh?

The vote should that the non split supports do not even know what they want. Could not even come together to show this is the plan we want. There was 43% against the split but spread out over 4 options. Get a plan together and try to push it forward, but instead let's put 4 out there and hope for blind luck. Then when it does go your way you want we to believe you will now all come together and leave.

It's just an on going effort from a block of self serving principals who want the LHSAA to be represented by or simply become a public school organization. ISD's and winning programs will be unwelcomed next.
