Probably gonna happen I guess. What now? They had one of their own clone principals, then an outsider with a great resume. Seriously, who now? I say save time and money and let the principals finish it off. It would be a great 100th anniversary celebration for the LHSAA to auction off its assets!

Isn't Booker close to his 20 year pension? Perfect fit- a check from the state AND a LHSAA salary to bury the selects. Don't know if he'd be happier if he was elected mayor of Many.

We will see just how stupid the executive committee is! Booker and his clones are running it now, why in the hell pay him?

Buy out update. The LHSAA is broke so the principals set up a go fund me account to raise money for the buyout. So far they raised $12, some laying chickens, a rooster, a 9 year old milk cow, a 3/4 full jar of homemade jam, and a 3 legged dog.

Jason Rowland of Airline told Tim Fletcher that it was news to him. Boy, the majority of the principals have a real cluster on their hands. What a huge joke this has become!!!

Mr. Rowland also said they may remove him "for cause", which wouldn't require a buyout.

I believe the LHSAA is an associate member of the Teachers Retirement System of Louisiana and he would be ineligible to get a retirement check plus a salary. However, he could retire and become the mayor and get a retirement check. The mayor would go under the Laser's system retirement plan. (Louisiana State Employee Retirement.)

As of a few years ago new employees are under a private retirement system. Prior to that employees are grandfathered in the teachers retirement system. They did this to skirt intervention from the legislature.

I did not realize they setup their own retirement. 403b?
