You don't know the kid, hop off of him. You clearly have something holding you back from seeing what everyone else is seeing. Don't speak on things you don't know. I do know the “kid”. I have tried talking to him. He doesn’t take it well. There’s no defending what we all saw. It disappointed us all. I personally lost a lot of respect for him. But I also understand the emotions of a teenage young man. I’m personally thankful I’m not judged by who I was at 18. At this point, it is solely on Ju’Juan Johnson to change that narrative moving forward. Hopefully he will. As fans of Louisiana high school football and the pride that we have in the players that come out of this state, we’re all pulling for him to grow from this moment. I wish him the best.

Just remember, these are kids we are talking about. Their brains are still developing. Their emotions may get the best of them. I know the man I am today is much different than the 18 year old I was my senior year.
Give the kid some grace. It ain’t easy losing on the biggest stage you have ever played.

Idk how you watch that game and see anything other than this young man giving everything had this game and this season. He wanted to kneel and go to half, coach called something else. But to act like this play was indicative of his competitiveness is ridiculous. And to act like he would or has ever deliberately sat out of plays because of the pressure or anything else is equally as dumb. If you don't know the kid, don't start hating on him now.

Glad you clarified what happened . When I watched his reaction you can tell he wasn’t happy with the play call. People should be upset with the coach for making that call. LCA had the lead and momentum prior to that.

It doesn’t matter if you like the play call or not, you don’t quit on the play and let another team score. We don’t need clarity on what happened, we can see. And if then if there’s wrong, why did the kid apologize for it on social media?
