I’m saddened to report that Bobby Ray passed away suddenly yesterday. He was a catalyst at RB/LB to a few of the great 90’s Tornado teams. He also played RB at LA Tech in the late 90’s alongside Tim Rattay. I’m sure anyone who saw him play remembers him. He was absolutely electric with the football in his hands and is among the best RB’s I’ve seen. If you’re the praying kind, I’m sure his family & loved ones could use them today.

Got to see Bobby Ray play against us (DeQuincy) in our only dome appearance. He was a special talent along with Jeffrey Meadows (spelling?) and quite a few others on that ‘95 Haynesville team. Prayers for his family.

Prayers said for the Tell family and the entire Haynesville community. Bobby Ray Tell was certainly one of the best high school running backs that I've ever had the pleasure to watch.
My son, who was 10 years old the last time he saw Bobby Ray play, called me from his vacation in the Florida Keys this afternoon to break the news to me, so I'm not the only person in my family that BRT made an impression on. RIP Bobby Ray, you'll never be forgotten.
