If this is true, the one I see available is Riverdale. That’s gonna be a tough job to win at but I also know they’re getting a good coach.

The only winning season they had there was when current NFL player, Donte Jackson, was there and did everything but serve concessions to the fans at halftime. There will never be another Donte Jackson at Riverdale. I don't think he would want that job.

I was assuming he was leaving to be a head coach but the post above suggests he took the oc position at Destrehan. At the time I said Riverdale seems to be the only opening I see in the area, not a good one, and as of last look I did jump the gun as Riverdale hired a Warren Easton assistant. And well, they won't do anything in the playoffs but they're in a district where the right coach can put them at a "by default" 2nd/3rd in district (because let's be real, Ehret should be winning 10-5A going away every year it's this configuration), and that's depending on if either Jefferson school gets back in the direction of being decent/good which I don't see happening.

I remember Donte Jackson coming to our jamboree but that team wasn’t much and it was before we really started winning. Though let’s admit, I love that Kyle Walker was building something there, and maybe he left something for the next guy, but not many head coaches are leaving after 4 years and improving numbers to be offensive coordinators (even if daddy is the AD), and that speaks volumes about Chalmette’s potential compared to Riverdale’s, which everyone in NOLA already knows. And we don’t even have that much potential. I think we’re pretty much at the top of it
