Probably won't be in a district or playoffs till the two year cycle is up. The other schools will stay in the class they are in regardless of any enrollment change up or down. Like when the two schools in point coupee merged in with Liviona. Liviona stayed 3A for two years with 4A numbers.

Most private schools do not offer athletics until the school is established. Southside will have an immediate athletic participation next fall. They are not doing like Fountableu who moved 9th and 10th grader over from Mandeville High and then added classes as they moved up. This will be 4 full classes the first year. They will be playoff eligible the second year, unless the LHSAA makes an exception to the rule.
