Great question. I’ve only seen WM. ALL I can say is they are big and good very athletic. The thing is they are two deep there.

I'll take a shot at this topic. I will judge all 4 5A teams DL as a whole body of work far the entire season.Who's good against the run, pass rush, etc.,which works hand in hand with points allowed. 1-W.Monroe;big,athletic and disciplined.Defense has only given up 21 or more points 4 times. 2-Zachary and Acadiana are almost made of the same mold, athletic, very fast to the ball and both well coached.Only difference between those two are Broncos have given up 21 or more points 4 times while Acadiana has given up 21 or more points only twice all season. 4- Hahnville-don't know much more about them other that they have given up 21 or more points 7 times this year.
Good luck to all Friday night.

From the games I’ve seen they are very good at creating turnovers. Friloux can be tough to handle. It’ll be interesting to see if they stay 3-3 or move to a 5-2. I don’t know much about their DL depth. WM always has a stout DL and Acadiana has done very well against the run. Not the biggest either. Zachary is good at getting into your head on defense. And by that I mean they literally stick their hands in your face mask and try to gouge your eyes out. Dirtiest team I have ever seen. Only thing I’d love better than seeing them lose this Friday is seeing them lose next weekend.

They grow them big up there and pride themselves on defense. I like your comment on Zachary, lol. Don't care to see them in the finals. Cheaters and dirty players like that need to be anywhere but the dome. But it would be sweet to see TD and his Rams take them down in week 15. BUT zhs will not get past WM. Rams are quick on defense with medium size. They are used to playing what all these teams run. These teams are not used to see the Veer. hhs I would say has not faced an offense like Acadiana. I think they will struggle early and thats all the Rams will need to get out to a quick start !! I will say it WM vs AHS week 15

As a Buc fan we have played WM and Acadiana and out of those two WM is a little better in the middle and Acadiana's playmakers are on the edges. LB's are a draw but if I had to say who is better I would give the edge to Acadiana. Seemed to be a little faster than WM.

I agree with some of what you said. WM is much faster this year than in past years. The DB's are faster If we play Acadiana and that is a big if, you may be surprised as to the speed we have on the corners this year. Zachary and Hahnville are both formidable foes and not to be taken lightly . Let's just see how the games tonight play out. WM has it's hands full tonight.

Heck man, from the sound of it, we’d better wear welding goggles. If a player gets caught doing that, they should be thrown off the field. If not caught, the team hit the guy so hard as to render him unavailable for the rest of the night..(big time editing there)

Hey fanman I have a question on a different topic.I used to go to the olerebels message board fairly often in the past ,but I can't seem to even get on it this year.I even tried to get a new user name and the message board won't even let me set up a new account. Are they having problems getting new accounts set up? Just curious.

West Monroe has the best DL of the four. They are the difference makers on that defense. They have “acquired” a couple of studs from around the area that have really taken their front up a notch. They are very good in a 4 man front, but they can take over a game if they slide into a 5 man front. Their LB’s are good... but allowed to roam free quite often due to their dominant DL. Offenses have to double team their interior guys and attempt to kick out their ends. Not very often do those interior guys lose 1 on 1 matchups, and their ends may not be the most explosive pass rushers, but they are very athletic and disciplined, and they can definitely rush the passer. Their secondary also greatly benefits from the play of their DL play. Their safeties play the run well, but all DB’s are very average coverage wise. Their play good assignment football, but they’re certainly not immune to giving up big plays.....if the QB has time that is 😁. Again, their decent to solid at every position, but their DL can change the outcome of ball games.

Please stop pretending like Zachary is some undisciplined, cocky school. That was one player's decision to do that. Easily one of the best programs in the state academically and athletically.
