I have to go with:
Clemson Oklahoma Georgia Alabama
The First 3 are a lock, but the 4th spot is up for grabs.
I can't see Ohio St., who has 2 losses and barely beat a weak overrated Wisconsin team in a joke of a conference championship game, jump a 1-loss Alabama team. Ohio St. also got skulldrug by IOWA by 31 points!! And lets not forget the beatdown by Oklahoma 31-16. They have a tougher schedule, but is it enough to jump Alabama for the final playoff spot?
What do you guys think?

100% agree with you on the picks SP...somewhere common sense needs to prevail in the selection process!

I agree with Southplaq but it not about common sense and fairness. It’s about money and ratings. And I’m guessing there are plenty on this forum that can relate to the masses. “The sec is to good” “the sec only needs one team” “it’s not fair” “the sec wins to much”. Does this sound familiar?

Not at all. The SEC plays under the same rules as everyone else in the D1 of NCAA. It’s not like SEC teams can sign players from all over the country, but the pac 12 can only only sign from the west coast. That’s why there’s no valid comparison between pre split LHSAA and NCAA sports. So instead of trying to turn a thread about the NCAA playoffs into another split argument, take a look at the facts for once. Anyways, back to the subject. There is way too much emphasis on when a team loses. My four would be Clemson, Oklahoma, Georgia, and Alabama.

You see, we do agree on something

I said all last week that the CFP committee was looking for ANY excuse at all to put Alabama in the playoff and as soon as Wisconsin lost i knew the Crimson Sabans were in there. If Clemson or Oklahoma had lost i guarantee that Ohio St would be in there too. As long as Saban and Urban are there they have a permanent key to the back door. The CFP committee are just media puppets.

I hate bama, but Ohio st had zero business being in the final 4. I saw them get trounced at home to oklahoma and then get demolished by an unranked Iowa squad. No way you put them in.
Truly both teams are undeserving (bama and Ohio st) to be graced with an invitation. Bama because of their horrible schedule.
It doesn't matter in the end though as bama is going to get wrecked in the semifinals. It won't be close. Clemson defense will absolutely destroy bama offense on a neutral site lol.

Going to be interesting, but with college teams, anything can happen. Clemson got beat by unranked Syracuse 27-24 and then allowed unranked NC State to put up 31 points on them. If Hurst has a good game, Clemson can be beaten. im just hoping we get 2 SEC teams in the finals. Not likely, but possible

I'm taking oklahoma to win it all because of Mayfield. I think they absolutely beat the fire put of georgia. I think bama is going to be more competitive but their offense sucks and Clemson defensive line is nothing but nfl players passing through college at the moment lol. Clemson then gets beat in a very good game against oklahoma. But I am not nearly as confident in that matchup because Clemson defense is just not fair. Wilkins, Lawrence, etc.. just ridiculous. They stoo the run and pass at the line unlike bama defenses of recent note that relied on their linebackers. So Clemson just drops back their linebackers aND never has to get real inventive and that is with a coordinator that loved to blitz and do exotic looks lol.
