Really couldnt see to many players shine this year. Bolden distracted LB thats why #8 was a 1000 yd rusher. Bolden will be hard to replace.

WM will always be a contender. They will always be a quarter-final team or better every year.

West Monroe will be a top 5 team in 5A again next year without question. They are rught behind zachary and destrehan in terms of quality returning starters next year.
If West Monroe can develop some offensive linemen as good as the ones this year along with some quality receivers for #12 to throw to, they will have a chance to win it all. They need a 6'3" deep threat to stretch the field in the style offense they will likely run with #12. All good throw first spread offenses almost must have that one big tall receiver that can run past the secondary to be truly great. 5'8 receivers won't cut it. Teams will begin to game plan for #12 and the new look offense next year and the element of surprise we saw friday night will not be there.

They just better find some 6'3 guys who can run and develop them for the position. Talent like that has always been on defense and never developed physically into receivers as West Monroe has never ran that type offense. But, if they truly wish to be a pass first offense it is a must to have at least one receiver at least 6 to 6'4 to truly be able to run every route you wish. Big secondary players with speed will demolish little guys in coverage style defenses. Dink and dunk will work against lesser teams but the better teams will just not work, you must have a guy who is big and can get down field to complete the offense. Maybe they will find one. I know they moved Hunter to defensive back so his speed is gone. He would have been a prime candidate for that offense.
