Not too sure yet, but you can expect a strong showing of B-Ball from Livingston Parish this year. We really shined last year and most of our teams were young. Walker, Albany, and Holden should have strong girls while Denham, French Settlement, and Maurepas should do well in boys. Springfield returns their entire girls squad and Doyle has been doing well in both.
The only school that has been weak is Live Oak.

well we have the 6'11" nationally ranked Mitchell Robinson, a transfer from Pensacola, FL, but even then i'm not gonna say we're the favorites in 8-5A, the strongest basketball district in the state

In Class A it will be all Lafayette Christian. Now that Madison Prep and Country Day moved up to 2A, their only competition will be SLab and Arcadia, and I'm certain they have the team to beat those 2. Actually, I'll be surprised if anyone comes within 20 points of LCA in Class 1A this year.
Class 2 A will be fun to watch. Top 4 teams are Lakeview, Country Day, Madison Prep, and Riverside. I expect Prep to give Riverside a game, but I expect the Rebels to win another 2A title.

They only lost 1 senior and is bringing back their district MVP from last year who was a freshman.

They made it to the finals of the Hamilton Christian tournament which had some of the top teams in the state. Scotlandville beat them 69-60 in finals.

Impressive. They're gonna run right through 1A this year. I hate to see what they'll do against my Eagles.
