Defense a should be improved with two guys holding SEC offers on the defense. Trojans return a veteran QB in Ben Hesni but they are gonna need 2016 Hesni not 2017 Hesni to be successful. They lose Hill, Vallien, and Orphey at skill positions so they will need some younger guys to step up

Real BAD. I expect them to be even worse this season.

ASH has notoriously been big flash offense and no-show defense for decades. In the very few years that they have been good defensively they’ve struggled offensively.
Never seem to be able to put the whole thing together. In 40 years they’ve been to the qtrfinals two times, and have only been to the second round about 6-8 Times.
They’ve sent several players to the NFL and dozens of players to SEC and similar caliber schools. Yet they never get past the second round.
They are the poster child for Cenla football ineptness.
Having said that I do believe they will be strong defensively this year and if the offense can be adequate, they could make a little noise. Maybe

Maybe The production of Ben Hesni will make or break ASH this season. He had a very productive 2,000+ yard sopre season in 2016 but last season he struggled greatly even though he had a couple of college level lineman, an All-State running back, and two D1 wide receivers.
