The LHSAA so called “bust” you are referring to was self reported. The LHSAA investigators must have been trained by Barney Fife. The recent McKinley “bust” was also self reported. The LHSAA is controlled by self serving s, the rules are a reflection of their greed and stupidity. This is how the self reporting goes these days: Offended Principal or AD: I found out that Public school X has illegal recruiting and paper work problems. Here is my proof. LHSAA official: Thank you for the information Offended Prinicpal. hangs up, picks up the phone and calls offending school principal X. We have a report that you guys have some paper work issues and have an ineligible player Y on your teams. Offending school principal X: Oh yeah, I have the form right here we want to self report that we have some problems. (muffled scream) Virgie get me that LHSAA form we need to get it to them now before they get here. LHSAA official: NO problem, now that you have self reported. We will just issue a slap on the wrist. Offending School Prinipal X: Thank you. (muffled screaming) How did they find out... Hangup…... That's priceless. You must have the phones tapped.

This is how it goes at private schools: LHSAA Official on site surprise visit, Friday noon semifinal game day: Hey coach I am here today cause it has been reported that you are a cheater and have ineligible kids on your team with no paperwork. I know you are getting ready to load up that bus with your kids and drive for 3 hours to be on time for your game, but we have to take a 3 hour look into your records. Coach: Is it ok with you if my AD and Principal handle this meeting and go over the records with you? LHSAA Official: That's fine but we are going to note it on your records that you were combative and not willing to work with us. Coach: Hey AD you got this? AD: Sure no sweat coach, I'll have my secretary load him down with every student's packet for that last 5 years that he has been through 4 times already. He will be he till you get back at 3am. LHSAA Official: Uh.... What Happened? ?

Question, if a kid had to move to a new school in a different parish,(his mother moved to Pennsylvania for work, he didnt want to go so he moved in with another family in a different town) does he have to still sit out a whole year? For me, I'd say the situation would need to be looked at by a board set up to investigate these situations. They shouldn't come up too terribly often. If the situation involved a kid that resided in Caddo, mom was moving to Pennsylvania, kid was going to stay with the Jones' in Bossier Parish I'd let him play. He'd get his 1 transfer opportunity and play ball. If the kid had moved from Capt Shreve to Byrd his 10th grade year and the move situation came about his senior year and he now wanted to live with a family in South Bossier and attend Parkway, then no ball for him. He already used his 1 transfer. If he wants to play ball at that point, he better move to Penn with mom and hope that they'll let him show up and play.

Pennsylvania is a long way to go to check the closets for clothes.

If it's the kind of job you move across the country for, they have a way for someone to verify employment.
