Hopes he gets the program back on track...will be interesting to see since he is not the the only football playing school in the parish now...Sicily Island will get kids who would usually play at Block

Participation will increase dramatically now that he’s back. They will much better in 3 years. May not have been a great fit at Peabody. And also had a lot of personal stuff going on during his tenure there. But he knows how to the kids at block involved and how to get them to play really hard.

Seems to be the only place he can function. Maybe he can get them going again. Well he’s only been 2 places. One has a much better football history than the other. I’m not sure anyone can function at Peabody in football.

Administration at Peabody doesn't care for football too much..i don't care who the coach was..The situation he was dealing with personally would have been a bit much for anyone

Is his wife still sick ? I have not heard. Poor ole Benny, he had like three or four straight years when he got escorted off field by the cops when playing Jena, lol. Last time was in 2016 when he was at Peabody.

Peabody is a basketball dynasty. Not sure why football does not work there. Because Coach Smith wont allow his basketball players to play football and they are usually the best athletes in the school. There have been exceptions but they end up having to choose eventually

Peabody is a basketball dynasty. Not sure why football does not work there. Because Coach Smith wont allow his basketball players to play football and they are usually the best athletes in the school. There have been exceptions but they end up having to choose eventually Please stop going around telling that lie because that's what it is. The one player we really have on the football field this year has played basketball as well for his entire career. Coach Smith hasn't made his players choose between sports in years because the talent there has been depleted to such an extent. The best kids from our feeder school at football have always gone to ASH to play, when Stoker was around they used to cherry pick them, prime examples (Nic Harris and Chris Brown both lived blocks from Peabody but went to ASH, now with open enrollment that is not just happening with football, but why the girls basketball team has dissolved into obscurity. Much of it has to do with how the school is run by a principal who is inept but its a school wide issue why we are losing students and not just athletic talent. Sadly, I can see us dropping to 2A, maybe not the next cycle but the one after that, if there isn't a change in principal. Also, found out, Hall is going to be Asst. Principal as well as football coach, so if his tenure as football coach does not go well, don't be surprised if he is relieved of football duties and becomes only and administrator, but possibly Principal as well if the uproar over Henagan grows.

The one and only certain thing is that they will lead the area in penalties, penalty yards and ejections.
Was that way for 4 years while he was at Block before and while he was at Peabody.
That ain’t going to change
