say what you like but I don know of many coaches that would have put up with this kid with the attitude he had at WM. wanted and ask why he did not get one at the banquet a soph. not willing to wait his turn. Sure he may be a great player by this time next year but he was just not a good fit at WM Maybe IMG would be

How does Northwood-SHRV compare to the Monroe 4A’s Neville and Bastrop?

How does Northwood-SHRV compare to the Monroe 4A’s Neville and Bastrop? Bastrop has more upside than Northwood. Whether or not that translates to the field, who knows. New coaching staff. I'm not real sure about Neville. Any team needs an identity and does Neville have one?

Their two offensive tackles are good and so are their two defensive ends on defense--all 4 are very athletic. That is their identity from what i saw. Max Hunter and Thomas will be their bell cows offensively. Both explosive and can score at any point in time. Passing game needs more work and receivers are not really explosive, but they all run great routes and are well-coached. Their defense in the back end arent real big or exceptionally great and i think a team that has a really good O-Line can run the ball inside effectively and throw over top. Bastrop offensively is just electric. Best QB, Receiving corp, and O-Line in North Louisiana. The coaching is superb up front. The most impressive team i saw over the weekend as of today. You are going to be in for a track meet with those boys.

How does Northwood-SHRV compare to the Monroe 4A’s Neville and Bastrop? The problem with Northwood is no one will know if they are any good or not by the end of the year, including themselves. Non-district schedule is North Caddo, Richwood, and Plain Dealing. LOL! Then once district starts, who knows. Because is North Desoto any good? Benton? We don't know. We know that Benton will be down but has a good coach. I'm sure Woodlawn will be their toughest game. District play doesn't give you a real barometer unless it's a tried and true district.

Continues to kook downfield and is well-coached. I still wonder just how electric they could be with Brister at QB with Hunter and Thomas out wide!!! Yikes!! McCarty make it happen!! But that is just me. Brister looked shell-shocked that one series. With some reps he will be fine. Neville is legit.

Thomas looked more poised and threw a better ball. And that was with him standing there. I'm sure he can scramble. And yes, if he was out wide with Brister at QB, then that's another element. But from what I saw last summer, Thomas was better.

He is better and you were right.
Brister in the JV game showed his skills and they are good. Great arm and accuracy when given time. I like his potential, but needs to gain some weight and mature physically and the sky is the limit. Hard to believe he is a junior.

Wasn’t a horse collar. Just saw the film. All shirt sleeve. But your future “All Stater” did get run down from behind by a 250# defensive end. Lol Sucks that you don’t get to keep them all, huh?? Don’t forget that he had almost 100 yards in returns & a TD on you....in a half.

The kick coverage was terrible but it will get better. As for as Hunter goes, he is quick and will get some yards every game.
