Catholic had over 500 yards rushing.
The WB had around 240-250 and the RB had approximately 175.
Catholic didn't attempt but two passes that I'm aware of.
Westgate's starting QB went out with an injury in the first half. Their star RB, Tyreese Jackson, was held to 14 yards in the first half on six carries.
He left the game with a groin injury.
Kayshon Boutte had two long touchdowns called back.
The Catholic team buses chanted "overrated" as they left the stadium.

Catholic did a great job of executing in the Wing-T. The QB ran for 96 yards and 3 scores. They can really catch a defense off-balance with the trap.

The coaches at Westgate need to be gone. They have an embarrassment of riches on that team and were woefully prepared. Ryan Antoine and staff are wasting tremendous talent. Antoine wants to talk about all this D-1 talent they have and how they get their players scholarships. He isn’t even smart enough to realize making those points only proves how inept he is as a coach...

They have some phenomenal skill players.
The offensive line and defensive front seven are a problem...or, at least they were last night.

Rayne got beat by Welsh. It was 14-13 then they outscored us 27-3. We lost a good bit from last years semifinal run but we'll win some games...seems Westgate coaching still an issue to some people

Neither was terribly effective when they were in anyway. It’s possible that Jackson was already bothered by his groin. A couple of days before the game I had heard from a couple of unreliable sources that he might not play because he was dealing with an injury. Who knows?

According to Coach Antoine, Eddie should be able to go next week.
Jackson has a recurring groin issue.

Just down right disappointing. Not that I did not want Catholic to win, but hoping da'GAte would come to represent this year. Next weeks opponent is Jeanerette, who beat some scientist last week by one purnt. Ouch.....

A couple of D1 athletes with JUCO grades and streetball mentalites. Great job coach. Then they are not D1 Athletes. They are JUCO athletes. It takes more than being athletically gifted to make it to D1. Unless you cheat of course. I am sure there are a whole bunch out there that cheat to get to D1. Or like so many in the NFL who go in round one and two of the draft, but cannot learn their plays and end up out of a job on cut day. Which is today. cut, cut, cut......
