Was this game a harbinger of things to come for both Kaplan foes as well as giving Acadiana's opposition that Goliath can be taken down with a small stone? Ruston your up next and they just skull drug perennial power Neville 41-7. Kaplan plays another very tough opponent in Welsh who defeated Rayne 41-16. My week two game of the week will be the latter clash. Good luck to Coach Tank.

Delhi seems to have some serious athletes. Saw the highlights of that game with Mangham. Impressive quarterback and playcalling.

You should have listened to the majority of NELA fans SP. Almost all picked FP and most picked them to win big. Rayville's only TD came on a short field after a fumble. FP held them to only 4 1st downs. Lent Bursey has never beaten FP.

Ruston and St. James blowout wins were the shockers. Be interesting to see how Amite, W.St. John, and Neville respond this week. Neville is not use to getting beat like that by anyone. Amite and W. St. John were called locks to win State.

Admittedly, I’m not up on NO Catholic League football but Jesuit losing to Warren Easton seemed like it should’ve been a shocker. No?

Was at the Ruston/Neville game. Neville got punched In the mouth quick and couldn’t respond. Ruston was good but I’m not ready to dethrone West Monroe in that district just yet.

Wossman over Benton...
Did some research Benton blasted Wossman last year by 40 and Friday night had them pinned down by 22 at one point in the first half. Even more to it, word is Wossman's head coach was not at the game...
Also Neville's lost to Ruston, kinda expected it to be closer.

The Wossman over Benton was definitely a shocker. Dean suspended for recruiting (the irony of that) and Jackie Hamilton filling in and pulling an upset.......
