Wow, I did not see this coming. Is Byrd down this year? I figured they would beat Haughton in a close game, but Haughton rolled 42-21. Are Northwood and Haughton the 2 best teams in the Shreveport-Bossier area? After the impressive wins yesterday I would say yes.

Don't forget about Evangel! There is not a team in the area that can beat them. Parkway got shocked and Haughton will not see the endzone this week.

Evangel is in those teams in Shreveports heads as much as WM is in Monroe area teams and Ruston. It is a psychological hurdle that starts in middle school in those areas that is hard to break. Same seems to be the case for Zachary woth Catholic and University. Cant beat them, but can beat and play well against anyone else outside the area. Psychology in sports has always been fascinating to behold.
