Any chance LSU’s interim DL coach makes a visit to his alma mater tomorrow night to watch the Roy/Campbell matchup or will he be busy preparing for the match up against his college alma mater Saturday night? Good question and if he is capable to watch in sure he will be there. Campbell has played well, but for some odd reason he looks more stiff than last year and not as crazy. He was a cheetah out there last season seemingly everywhere he could go to block someone, anyone, for any reason. His stamina and athleticism was unique. Seems he has been coached to back off and stay with his assignment more. I understand it, but damn last year he was punishing every level of the defense and played reckless as hell (in a good way I thought). Roy will have to use power to get by him. I can't see him using his athleticism, Campbell is unique and his footwork is insane. His use of his hands are also impressive. But, he isn't massive yet and Roy is. Will be worth the $9 to watch this matchup alone. Enjoy it. Rarely comes around. I remember DeLaSalle and Marquise Hill came up and played West Monroe when both Hill (RIP man) and Whitworth were 5 star players. It was two juggernauts. Any truth to this “talk”?: U-High moves Roy to nose guard over #56; and puts #79 in front of Campbell, getting #78 away from the hands, feet & strength of #66; and giving #78 a better shot at rushing Neville’s #12? Hoping to see the #78 - #66 match-up myself, but I’ve seen #78 play NG some; not yet this season, but last season. Thoughts, opinions or just rumor?

#79 is a really good ball player. He has a great motor, strong and quick for his size. I'm not sure with his height however, if he would be as suited coming off the edge. I'm not saying it wouldn't be nice to have #78 coming up the A gap but you'd have to give up the back side edge rush. I do think it will be a good chess match all night figuring out how to work around #78. Btw, if you look at any game film of Neville's #66, he hasn't missed a beat. He handled a very good D1 prospect from WM in the Jamb and did a good job on what was supposed to be the best player on Ruston's D-line. I do know that the challenge gets amped up a lot this week with Roy but I think each will win some battles in this one.

Neville dominating the line of scrimmage. Roy has been mostly single blocked by the right tackle one on one most of the night. I guess they didn’t want any part of Campbell!!

Huge win for Neville 28-0. U-High only managed a little over a 100 yards offense. Neville was just too physical for the Cubs of BtR. Neville's two big offensive tackles ruled the night. What I anticipated being U Highs strength was actually where the Tigers dominated. Their Def. line is good but not great as billed. They were gassed by halftime.

U High had a chance to win this game right up till the moment I picked them to win in the pickem contest. From that moment on they never had a chance.

Wasn’t near what I expected to see from the returning 3A champs with a 27 game winning streak. Roy did minimal damage, but is still a force to be reckoned with. No matter if he was up against Neville’s #66 or #78; they both handled him pretty well. He made a few plays; but that is expected of any DE. Roy has no quit in him; goes until the whistle blows. U-Lab’s QB is a big ole boy, but that’s about all he brings to the table. Yes, #4 & #6 are athletes that made a few runs, but Neville’s D was fairly quick to shut them down. #12 Brister made some great plays. One beautiful touchdown pass in the corner of the end zone. Also, #5 RB Max Hunter played a huge role; and so did the sopre RB #28 AJ Allen. Hats off to Neville coaches McCarty, Burch and Lewis and their Tigers for a huge victory over the cubs last night.

Was there and Neville outcoached them on offense.
University was not prepared at all. They had some nice runs early but refused to stick with shortening the game and running clock. Keep going for the big play with no big playmakers outside 🤣
University is a one trick pony offensively with the sopre back. I Wasn't impressed with him and thought Neville's sopre back was way better. That kid is special. My goodness he is quick and shifty.
Campbell dominated as did their right tackle. Roy made some plays and showed his immense talent a few times but when he needed to be silenced Neville did so with ease.
Campbell is special. Kid will have all the major colleges in the nation camping out at Neville in 2 years. He is a wide receiver in a tackles body: moves like he weighs 170 and blocks like he is 320.
When he gets to 300? Oh poop.

RB, #44 Roberts So. LB, #78, Brown Sr. OT (opposite side of Campbell) and #95 Reese Sr. DE. All of these boys deserve a shout out! Well done Tigers!

Agree that Neville soph rb looked just as good if not better than university soph back. Also no doubt Neville outcoached them. Could have been even more lopsided if Neville catches the ball early in the game. Neville has sopres all over the field on offense and defense.

I really tried to tell you guys about UHigh. This isn’t a plug, play and reload program, they have to develop and mature. This is a very young team that needs the reps and realize that a name doesn’t win the game. They have talent but it is young, growing pains happen.
Neville has guys and will be a top 3 team all year in public 4a. They are the odds on favorite to play Karr in the title game. This isn’t a game to gauge either, better team won
