You can take this to the bank boys.
LSU doesn't stand a snowball's chance in hell of beating Alabama with the defense they have on the field right now in the first half against Northwestern State. The Demons may have one of the weakest football teams in the entire country and they have put up 14 points on LSU in the first half and should have another touchdown. Tigers lead by 10 at the half. Alabama would be up on Northwestern by 50 points at the half. Tigers better get things together.

MIDWESTERN STATE held them to 7.I gave the defense the benefit of the doubt last week because it was Texas, but really not any excuse this week for their first half performance regardless of starters being out. I’m sure NSU came in like it was the super bowl and LSU was hungover from last week but they got to get the defense and running game straightened out or Bama going to pound us again.

Well, I think we will beat Alabama. We got the team to do it this year. Just saying the got to get running game going and the defense has to pull it together and play to their potential.

This was a work out the kinks game for LSU lol, they will be ok, how many years lately LSU barely best fcs teams but gave bama all they could handle with les miles offensive scheme. They’ll be ok come November

I have no doubt that LSU has the offense to put up 20 to 30 points on Alabama. The question is, will that be enough?
Depends on whether the defense shows up.

The second half of the game tonight Lsu showed the team that they are. When the Bama game rolls around this team will be amped up and ready to play. We had a lot of starters out tonight as well.

The second half of the game tonight Lsu showed the team that they are. Second half was LSU finally wearing out NSU. SEC teams won’t have the depth issues NSU has when facing P5 teams. If anything I’d say the first half was a better gauge than the second. Easy to look good in the second half against an overmatched opponent. LSU has problems on defense. D wins championships. With that said, Coach Laird deserves a ton of praise. Demons took it to LSU for a half.

Great idea for "money games" spot the money team 7 pts each qtr, yes total 28 pts, Money games are an absolute disgrace to a real football game.

Here is an even better idea, all the 3rd Tier Money teams should get together and demand 1 Million minimum to play these Money Games.

True, the money game concept is less than great for the fan, but keep in mind that NSU playing LSU might very well be the only way the NSU athletic program stays afloat and any of the NSU student athletes have an opportunity to participate

Glad there is no NCAA rule that states LSU has to use the same soft zone scheme against Alabama in November as they did against NSU in September.

No LSU stop messing around with NSU and decide to play big boy football. But don’t forget pretty much our whole d-line was out for the game. Big difference there. I am a little concerned with our passing defense but have confidence that they will find it by the time sec play roles around. I think the way we play offense now with fast pace and defense not having much of a break has a little to do with it. Lsu is a playoff contender with this offense.

to be honest I think yall are looking way to deep into this game, its hard to get up and going for a game like this when your in the SEC certainly after a huge game the week before. now I know there were a lot of mistakes in this game but when your half cocked and heads not really in the game this kinda happens remember troy? I do and we went on a winning streak. so im not going to look to far into this just going to wait till we play a SEC school when all heads are in the game and fully cocked.
