I believe Port Allen is favorite to win state in 2A.
They are going to Duncanville Texas in November to play in tournament.
Sierra Canyon is playing there too.
Bronny James and Zaire Wade play there. Should be awesome.

Damn, I remember going up to Duncanville for that event when I was the camera guy. They have some good competition there, I remember seeing a game where Andrew Jones (an athletic guard who committed to Texas but I believe had a bout with cancer and is trying to come back now that he's cancer free) play against De'Aaron Fox after we played. Fox didn't show his abilities till the second half which was when we left to go back to the hotel, but Jones was displaying his athleticism in full and was impressive. All that to say, for Port Al to get that invite, people are taking notice of what y'all are doing down there.

Coaches son is in 7th grade. He is very good.
When he is in 9th grade, he might be best 9th grader in the area.

Port Allen is a good team but Rayville is still Rayville. Also teams like Red River, Lakeview, J-hodge, and Franklin will compete. Not to mention other 2a teams getting it in. I saw Port Allen and I didn't see anything that impressive this summer. (with the transfer playing)

Port Allen beat Red River at Red River last year in playoffs. Now their best player is at Scotlandville. Port Allen improved from last year. Red River did not.
During summer league their whole roster did not play together at all.
Collin Holoway, Towasky Johnson, Jalen Knox. Each of these three are all state caliber players. Hollaway is 6"5 and Knox is 6"4. Johnson is about 5"10 but can jump out the gym.
Jordan Brooks 6"4 sopre who will get playing time this year. Not on level of other three, but he is good. They have a freshman that can shoot the lights out. E.J Mcquillan. If he gets playing time he will knock down threes. Marcus Joseph and Mykele Franklin will probably start. Excellent defensive players and very quick. Kentae Williams is about 6"3 and is also a good player.
Lakeview is good. I saw J-Hodge play last year. They are moving up from 1A? They were a good team last year. Bradford is an all state player.
Check out Port Allen schedule. It is very good. Sophie B Wright, White Castle, Madison Prep, Plaquemine, MLK, Istrouma, Tioga.
Tournament in Texas, Catholic High, Sophie B. Wright, Madison Prep.
Port Allen plays great defense and will play 10 players. Look at Rayville scores in tournament last year. 128, 122, 107, 115, 61. Port Allen only allowed them to score 61. Defense travels.

Still have Bradford and he’s possibly the best player in the state for 2A and a top 5-10 player in the state. Have 3-5 freshmen coming in that might contribute right away. My only concern will be finding a big man but if we can do that then I’d expect us to make it to Lake Charles. Think it’s a quarterfinal squad easily. I’m anxious to see what Rayville is like this year cause they lost a good bit. Them, JH, Lakeview, and Port Allen should be around come quarterfinals no doubt.

I saw Port Allen was mentioned in Mrs. Fambroughs article this morning. Didn’t realize the transfer back home was Holloway, he’s surely a talent.
Also saw McDonald won’t be playing for Scotlandville this year which stinks but is what it is. They’ll be fine

Article said he was ruled ineligible by the LHSAA I’m guessing legitimacy of the move
